Hell’s Angel: An Angel Heart Mystery and Suspense Thriller

by Rob Palmer

“Having not read any of this authors previous books, I started reading without expectation and found I couldn’t put it down. A terrifying and sexually charged pursuit of obsession, desire and delusion. Packed full of spine tingling suspense that kept me gripped till the very last word… Now I want more!”

“I picked this book up, having previously never heard of the author. Anyway, as soon as I started the book I was hooked. The main character, Angel, is seriously disturbed! The author does a fantastic job of creating Angel. The reader almost feels sorry for her at the end…almost! She is a woman on a mission, and nothing will stand in her way….including the family cat! (As a cat lover, I was quite disturbed by this scene!) I loved this book and am hoping that the author has much more coming out soon.”

“Just finished reading The Lover from Hell…loved the book and really hope that there is a sequel in the pipeline.”

“I have just finished reading The Lover From Hell and thought it was amazing. Thanks for putting such a fabulous book out there!”

Move over Stephen King and Dean Koontz…this spine-chilling suspense thriller will keep you gripped from the first page to the last:
When love turns to obsession, murder and mayhem is not far behind…

For widower Jack Soul, a chance meeting with a beautiful and exotic redhead dancer seems like a chance for a new start…a new life, a new love. But he soon discovers that there is much more to Angel Heart than stunning looks and an insatiable sexual appetite. When she decides that he is The One – the man she is destined to love for ever – his fate becomes inextricably and devastatingly entwined with hers.

Jack learns she not only has a secret life that will shock him to the core, but that her actions are driven by a dark past that shapes a twisted future. Soon he finds himself on a dangerous path where death and desire intersect, and where his very life depends on his ability to deal with terrors beyond his worst nightmares…

Watch out…she might be behind you – and you wouldn’t want that. Her name may be Angel, but she is more like a she-devil. Sure, she might take you to the moon and back, but heck you might live to regret it later…or you might not live it all.

Jack Soul had no idea what he was letting himself in for when he found himself being pursued by a hot readhead with a mission. She was looking for The One – the love of her life – and when she decides Jack is her man, nothing will stop her from getting what she wants.

From the surreal world of ballet to the seediest of strip joints, and from sizzling sex to naked violence, this book takes on a rollercoaster journey of emotions and contrasts. After reading this, be prepared to sleep with the lights on.

by Arvin Stevens

The Paranormal Activities Control Squad discovers the vilest of evils blossoming in a place where the good have lost hope . . .

February, 1986 – Jack Rayon only wants to visit his incarcerated brother, but someone has other ideas – namely, the world’s deadliest assassin.

This ice-cold killer is as supernaturally skilled at murder as he is hampered in his abilities to communicate – but he is guided by a malevolent partner, brilliant and immature in equal measures, a hateful young super-genius in a frail body.

But combat, violence, and death are in Jack Rayon’s blood – and Sachet Saperstein, the plucky yet hapless fashion model turned detective, is at his side.

As the battle rages to an old abandoned church that turns out to be all too occupied, all of them are about to encounter something that they hate and fear even more than they hate and fear each other – a terrifying evil as old as mankind, nursing an insatiable lust for vengeance. . .

This is #6 in the extraordinarily bizarre adventures of the P.A.C Squad. Look for more adventures on Amazon:

Animals

by Steve Roach

ANIMALS

Brings together a number of well-received short stories by Steve Roach in a single volume. Includes:

The Whaler

In 1852 the whaling ship Nautilus leaves New Bedford and embarks upon a route to the South Pacific, a journey that will lead the crew to the domain of the magnificent sperm whales. But one of the whales they hunt is different. Sick, already dying, the men attack it and find something inside, something rotten and dangerous and alive. It’s a thing that will bring about the destruction of the Nautilus, and bring doom to Grice and his men. It appears that Grice is not the most formidable hunter these waters have ever seen – something else is out there, killing whales, and it has been this way for centuries…….

A Dog’s Life

When the Masters go out one day and never come back, old dogs Horace and Bilbo are left to fend for themselves. Locked in a kitchen with no food and a diminishing water supply, days go by until help finally comes. It’s too late for Bilbo. Horace recovers from his ordeal and is taken in by a new family, keen to introduce their young son Andy to the concept of looking after a pet. Andy is really excited at the thought of getting a dog, but his excitement turns to crushing disappointment when he sees how old it is. It’s not long before Andy makes Horace’s life a misery. Confused, unable to settle, Horace spends his nights dreaming of his loving, absent Masters and his days hiding in terror from the boy. But Horace will only be pushed so farâ?¦.

The Farda

Dorey, a lonely fat man, discovers an unwanted visitor in his stack of bananas – a spider the size of a man’s fist. Instead of killing it, or throwing it out, he takes pity on the beast and lets it stay for a while. It is the beginning of a magnificent friendship, one which sees Dorey heed the advice of his new lodger and take more pride in his appearance. A whole new world opens up, and one day the unthinkable happens – Dorey brings a woman home for the night. It results in disaster, setting off a chain of events that will change all of their lives forever.

Fox

A farmer, exhausted from long days trying to keep the business afloat, is kept awake one night by the howling of a fox. Tired beyond measure, he grabs his shotgun and kills the beast. The following morning, he finds two dead foxes – the one he shot was a mother, calling for help because her cub had been caught up in the hedgerow. The farmer is an unsentimental sort of fellow, and he picks them up by the tails and tosses the corpses into the woods. That night, a third fox sits howling outside the bedroom, staring up at the window in defiance. â??The Fox’ is an unflinching look at the pressures of modern farming, and a grim portrait of animals as vermin.

Ruiner

An old man searches the world for a place he can call his own, carrying a sack filled with seeds, pods and bulbs. All he wants is to find a place he can make a lovely garden, a place where he can spend his final years in peace. He finds what he is looking for in the middle of the desert. It is a bleak and lonely spot where the animals come to die. He helps reduce their pain by slitting their throats and bleeding them into the ground. In time, tiny red flowers grow. Taking this as a sign, the old man divines a water source and digs irrigation channels through the desert. He builds a hut from animal bones. He plants everything that he once carried in his sack. An Eden blooms. The animals now come to this place to live. One day, a monstrous bird falls from the sky and takes up residence in the crater-lake. It becomes the bane of the old man’s retirement, a vulgar and graceless murderer that preys on the other animals without mercy. The old man realises that Eden’s are always flawed and forces himself to accept the presence of this evil creature. But sometimes, worse things can be just around the corner.
