Only Human (Targon Tales)

by Chris Reher

By the author of The Catalyst and Rebel Alliances

Captain Nova Whiteside is assigned to the elite Vanguard task force assembled to combat an increasingly dangerous rebel force. Her no-nonsense new commander is of an enigmatic and reclusive species that soon figures most decisively in the balance of power.

Their pursuit of a ruthless rebel leader takes them through the worlds and dangers of the Commonwealth-dominated Targon sector where the line between their personal lives and their mission quickly begins to blur.

On their quest to recover a dangerous, living weapon in rebel hands it seems that the greatest opposition comes from among their own people and Nova must choose between duty to her command and loyalty to her friends.

Although the Targon Tales are numbered chronologically, each book is a complete adventure. The volumes describe common themes, settings and characters but can be read in any order.

“More adventures with the fiery redhead as she dazzles the universe. Chris You are headed to the top of my author list with this series. I know who I want as my co-pilot when I go to space.”

An Involuntary Spy: A GMO Thriller

by Kenneth Eade

Seth Rogan was a shitty spy. Actually, he wasn’t a spy at all. Just a guy trying to do the right thing. As a biologist for the largest biotech company in the world, he had a great job, and thoroughly enjoyed all the perks. But when asked to do some tests on the company’s genetically engineered foods, he became entangled in a trail of corruption and fraud that he wanted no part of, but could not escape from. In a story so true to life it could almost be from today’s newspapers, Seth, having bit the hand who fed him, is on the run from them, and the full overreaching strength of the United States government as a fugitive, who finds temporary refuge with an old enemy of the U.S. But his peace is about to be broken as he finds himself in the role of an involuntary spy.

Divine Misconception

by T.D. Kaschalk

Imagine the implications of finding an ancient Sumerian artifact, buried deep under American soil. That’s how Lisa Jenkins, a young Mississippi school teacher, began her summer vacation.

She discovers that her property hides more than a few secrets, and this one will surely rewrite history. This modern day adventure is tangled with conspiracy and a deadly twist. With the fate of mankind being at stake, Lisa and her friends are challenged in a race against time to solve an ancient mystery.

This story relates to the theories that our DNA was genetically altered by the Anunnaki (ancient astronauts) and the Vatican has concealed our origin in an attempt to save Christianity.

Peril of the Unbekannt

by Michael Dority

Pilot (Small Skies)

by R. D. Drabble

Even the most stupendously precise and well executed of ideals, have through the fullness of time been found to have been ultimately pathetic and ineffectual…through changes in opinion and apathy, once great strives have been rewritten, and reviewed as clumsy meanderings.

Taking the above into account it therefore seemed more than likely that the same could be said for the truly ridiculous and foolhardy of endeavours…with this in mind Legitt Redd lived his life, continuing on the premise that ultimately time would evaluate his life as it saw fit, regardless of his own opinions and actions – So why bother to rock the boat unnecessarily.

Unwittingly his life, and his lazy coasting attitude toward it, was about to take a dramatic turn to much more stormier waters.

by S.A. Gorden

Recycle continues the story of Captain ‘Finn’ Hill and his moving space garage and tow ship Scrap. Life anywhere is full of love and loss, happiness and sadness but most of all it is full of change. Those living it don’t see the change. It happens too slow. Finn’s life has changed. It has suffered loss and gain. His next voyage on Scrap will again change his life and the lives of those around him. Follow Finn and his extended family as he travels across two Galactic Arms and into danger.

Recycle can be read as a standalone story. People who have read other Terran/Ricky Commonwealth novels will appreciate the return of many of their favorite characters in the story.

(Focus) (Factors in Sanctuary)

by Pamela Foland

Cosmic Exile

by Armand Vespertine

After many generations of self-directed evolution, Humanity believes it has perfected itself. Everyone is brilliant, beautiful, even immortal. More amazing perhaps is that they are also peaceful. Terrified that they would be the cause of their own extinction, Humans re-engineered themselves to be a race of pacifists and altruists, who see violence and egotism as anathema.

Though Humans may now resemble Elves more than Men, the Universe they inhabit is still black and cold and cruel. It is ancient and vast beyond comprehension, and these naïve Humans venture into it at their peril.

Deep within the eternal and boundless Dark dwell many fell creatures, abominations that Humanity would fall to without hope of salvation.

The Meek have inherited the Earth. They may not be able to keep it.
