AMORC’s First Temple Degree Initiation Ritual ILLUSTRATED The Abridged Version With Commentary Part 1

by Pierre S. Freeman

As the Neophytes began their journey in AMORC’s First Temple Degree Ritual, author Pierre S. Freeman describes their journey with the same biting commentary familiar to his readers in his books and blogs. It is a journey which the Neophytes (newbies in an esoteric order) think will lead them to a beautiful fulfilling life in tune with the Cosmic, aptly traced in this ritual, but which Freeman contends in his various works may lead to a Norman Rockwell type of middle class existence of blissful ignorance of the path they are really on or the nightmare of transformation into a new cult-programmed personality as he experienced for twenty-six years. While commenting on the Via Negativa traversed by these Neophytes, Freeman also expounds speculatively on what the rituals might mean in a real esoteric order. He follows them and the various officers and characters through the quadrants of the Temple, which he guesses might actually mean the circulation of energy (chi) through the body of the Initiate and describes in detail the rituals they face when encountering the Terror of the Threshold, where the Neophytes encounter the figure of Death and Colombe, a white robed young woman who symbolizes conscience. In this manner, Freeman gives his readers a sense of the flavor of the actual ritual through this commentary, but also through the full color illustrations, which populate the ebook.

My True Life Stories Of Spiritual Warfare And The Paranormal (Empowering You to Banish the Unwanted)

by Jason Lohman

Spiritual Warfare / Paranormal Events
Authored by Jason Lohman, Supplement by Dr. Richard B.W. Ing

This book is about spiritual warfare and the paranormal, and how these paranormal events shaped my Christian beliefs.

What you are about to read are true spiritual and paranormal accounts witnessed and lived by me and my immediate family members. These experiences took place during my childhood and into my adult life. This subject of the paranormal is a touchy subject with many individuals and with many Christians.

The purpose of sharing this with you is two-fold. The trauma and fear that I experienced as a child is something from which no child should ever suffer, and the second reason is I want to empower you with the tools and knowledge to rid your own home and life of any unwelcome “guests”. These entities are not to be taken lightly. They also should not take over you or your home!

-Excerpts-

“It is imperative to read this book entirely to fully understand the complexity of my experiences and the information that I present within. Please understand, this book is not about rejoicing in getting rid of the paranormal, but showing others how to fight off the paranormal. I see people all the time dealing with the paranormal and not knowing of the root of their problem! I feel this book will guide and show them how to handle such situations.”

“â?¦Spiritual warfare, in particular, incited my interest probably due to my many childhood paranormal experiences. This fascination of these studies was ever increasing and continued on for many years after that. In the year 1994, I had my next paranormal experience and this is when I put my Christian faith and all that I had studied about spiritual warfare, into practice.”

“One particular night, my bedroom was dark and only a bathroom light was on in the hallway. Everyone was already asleep. Being the oldest, I claimed the top bunk. I remember lying and simply looking up at the ceiling when suddenly, out of my peripheral view at the side of my bed, I was struck by a figure of a dark shadow man. I turned my head only to find myself in an extremely compromised position with this figure staring right back at me. Because his head was level with mine, and was no greater than a mere foot from my face, I became consumed with absolute terror as we were face-to-face.”

“…The game was on between me and this demon spirit! For the next hour to two hours, I was not cleaning the building, physically. I was now cleaning this building with the Holy Spirit and the Bible.”

Out of Deception

by Nathan Miller

The unbelievable but true story of how Wil Hochstetler, a young, innocent Amish teen and his family, were unwittingly lured into the clutches of a smooth-talking cult leader. Wil’s family was searching for something deeper, and what seemed at first like fresh water for a thirsty heart soon turned bitter and poisonous. By the grace of God, Wil’s devotion to his leader slowly turned to doubt. Finally, sick and tired of being manipulated, controlled, abused, molested, and deceived, Wil made his break and escaped his leader’s grasp-or so he thought. This is a disturbing story of Satan’s gross deceptions and a beautiful story of the power of God’s grace and deliverance.

Mission in Action

by Peter Renew

Throughout my travels in Christian mission, I took notes to remember things that were unusual; this book is a compilation of many of those events. They represent things that happened to me or others I worked with; things that happened around me, and things I became aware of as I worked in serving people with disabilities. For privacy of friends and colleagues, many names and places have been changed.

I also have many tales to tell of my involvement in eye care, prevention of blindness programmes, eye surgery and education or rehabilitation of blind people. These stories are of similar ilk to this book, but all appear in another volume, “Sight for Sore Eyes-vision and blindness in perspective”.

Mission in Action is a raw, sometimes-uncomfortable, look at working in Christian mission. Many people have an idealistic or rosy view of what it is, what it should be and what is achieved. A life of perfection maybe; robust faith and great events; and in particular, a life where everyone the mission worker meets, wishes to get to know God; the Jesus of the Christian faith.

It may be like that in some places, but the calling I answered was not quite like that. Life was different every day, life was potentially dangerous on very many days. It was, on many occasions, the type of service St Paul referred to in 2 Corinthians 6: 3-7.

The events are all here in black and white. Well, mostly anyway. There are a number of situations and feelings that remain unpublished. You had to be there to understand.

Christmas In Down

by Mary Eason

Christmas In Down – A new adult Christian Romance – Coming December 1st.

Some mistakes are easy to forget while others become glaring reminders of past failures and stand ready to haunt you for the rest of your life.

For Laney Winters, this Christmas is full of glaring reminders of mistakes past. Starting with the biggest of them all and Laney’s personal favorite — discovering she is pregnant.

Add to that, one recently departed husband who has a fetish for secretaries, (namely his own), and top it all off with the icing on the cake, moving back home to live with her two very eccentric old-maid aunts.

This had to amount to the Trifecta when it came to glaring mistakes and the kind that called for some serious life reevaluation

Where exactly was her life heading lately because frankly this wasn’t how she’d pictured it growing up, when she’d vowed never to return to Down, Texas, or the Pine Street Diner again.

But as her aunts were always fond of pointing out whenever Laney encountered any rough spots growing up, there’s always an upside to life, even when you’re down. You just have to look a little harder for it sometimes. And as Laney is about to discover, Christmas miracles still do come true and running away to the middle of nowhere might just prove to be the best decision of her life.

Jerk and Grow Rich

by Juan Kallott

Have you ever wondered why some people around you seem to have far too much money? How men in flash suits radiate cash in a flamboyant manner? You know the guy I mean? Every time you see him, you mutter something under your breath as he charms the ladies and thrusts out his oversize crutch from his sports car.
“Wwnnkkkrr!”
“What was that you said?”
“Wanker. That guy is a jerk-off. I hate him!”
“You HATE him?”
“Yeah, I hate him? The jerk-off!”
“You sure you are not just jealous? Maybe you just want to be like him.”
“No fucking way, man! Look at him? He’s a jerk.”
“But he’s rich? Wouldn’t you like to be rich?”
“If being rich means I have to be a jerk, then noâ?¦!”

Is this you? Do you have this conversation with yourself every time you go to the mall?

You see, that’s how it is. There is the working man, happy with his little lot in life, struggling to make ends meet.
And then there is the JERKâ?¦with the cash.

You’re either one or the other.

If you are the jerk with the cash, then thank you for buying this book, now fuck off.

But if you are the one who wants the cash, then let me show you, within the covers of this book, how to act like a real jerk. I promise you, once I am through with you, even if you have less money than a bankrupt third world country, everyone else will think you have loads of it. And let’s face it, that’s all that really matters! Right?

QUR’ANIC ‘WE’ IS THE SOURCE OF DEMOCRACY AND, SPLIT IMAGE, A FAILED MIND

by Yoshiko Goto

In this research based writing, we build a new theological road right through the very abstract precinct of 95:4 and 4:1. There, you see the pristine abstraction of democratic human rights to all human beings by Allah.

The heavy building works is centred on “We” is plural but the “image” is singular in 95:4. One comprehensive Qur’anic verse is needed to show human beings receive this devolution of self-determination granted by Allah! In its absence, all is bollocks, period! It must also facilitate to accommodate the abstraction of noble image from sacred holy to profane realm of human beings. Surah (Chapter) 42 – Al Shura (Consultation) is irrelevant. It is specimen example of guidelines for the functioning of intended democratic state.

In 4:1, you notice the human plural corresponds to the divine singular. In 95:4, it is human singular and divine plural.

When this two verses are brought together, there is dissonant in which the sayings are opposed to each other and not in harmony.

Why?

Is this “piled contradictions”?

Is this a conclusive proof illustrating the topic “has no solid scriptural basis”?

Is this “ill befits the word of God”?

How about the holy trinity of “me myself and I” putting on dancing shoes?

The manana about a lovely bit of twinkle-toed theological dribbling has gone doolally!

At issue are the simple but fundamental questions:

(1) Where can you now find Allah in 1:5 to worship and implore for help once you shoehorned “You (custodian)” into 1:5 to replace “You (Allah)”?

(2) Where can you now find Allah intended noble image for you?

Is Satan in the Garden at the creation scene very much the Satan of the present?

OMG! – God probably does exist!

by James Judd

STOP! If you do not wish to have your beliefs challenged, then this book is not for you!

Over the last few years, my belief in the existence of God has gone from 0.000000001% to 51% making God’s existence now more likely than not.

You will have heard all the tired old arguments in favour of God, “the blind watchmaker” etc. You will have heard all the arguments against God’s existence, as laid out in books such as Richard Dawkins’ God Delusion, but here are some very different arguments, in favour of a very different God.

This book sets out to prove the existence of a God, but looking for evidence of God in the religious texts is like looking for evidence of evolution in the Just So Stories! We will only ever make sense of our world though science.

The various versions of God all seem highly improbable to me, but there are also many inconsistencies in the Darwin alternative.

My version of God is sentient, monitoring and influencing many aspects of our lives. If this is so, this would answer many questionsâ?¦

Why the stop-start evolution we see in living things and the fossil records?

Why are we pre-programmed to die?

Why do all animals have a set life expectancy?

Why has natural selection predominantly selected 1 male : 1 female instead of a far more productive 1 : 10?

Why were more boys born after so many men died in the 1st and 2nd world wars?

When some insects have a 1 year life cycle and bacteria have a 20 minute life cycle why don’t the bacteria evolve resistance 26,280 times faster?

Why has Paramecium remained unchanged for a billion years?

With only 10% of the cells in your body being human are you an individual or a colony?

Why are we loosing good biological advantages like hearing and smell?

Why has male fertility halved in the last 30 years?

Why do super lethal pandemics suddenly stop killing?

Why is life expectancy so different for different animals?

Why do animals reproduce sexually?

Why? Why? Why?…
