God Still Loves You: 40 Reminders from God

by Burton Barr Jr.

“God Still Loves You” gives is a wonderful daily devotional where Rev. Burton Barr Jr. shares 40 reminders and real-life examples that illustrates God’s love for us.

“It doesn’t matter what you have done or what you have become, God still loves you. You can be sitting on top of the world or sitting in a prison cell, God still loves you. He not only loves you, He really cares about you”, says Rev. Burton Barr Jr.

EXCERPT FROM “GOD STILL LOVES YOU”
Life is not fair. Job understood this when he said, “Man that is born of woman is of few days and full of trouble” (Job 14:1). In a country that is as rich as ours, millions of people go to bed hungry every night. That is, if they are lucky enough to have a bed or a home for that matter. The amazing thing is, many people blame God for the misfortunes of humanity.

On a very cold, winter’s day, a young girl stood on a busy street corner begging for food, money or whatever she could get. She stood there cold and shivering as vicious winds penetrated her thin, tattered clothes. Hundreds of people walked past her but only a few dared to look in her direction.

A well-dressed, prosperous looking gentleman looked at the young girl and shook his head before getting into his expensive automobile. When he arrived at his huge, warm, luxurious home, he sat down at the dinner table with his family and began to feast on a meal that was fit for a king.

After eating his dessert, his mind went back to the hungry little girl that he had seen earlier. As he thought about her thin, dirty, shivering body, he started questioning God for allowing such conditions to exist. He said, “God, how can you let this happen? Why don’t you do something to help that little girl?”

He heard God responding to his question with the words, “I did. I created you.”

God blesses us so that we can bless others. But instead, too many people have subscribed to the philosophy, “I got mine. You get yours.” They don’t care if you have enough food as long as their refrigerator is full. They don’t care if gangs terrorize your neighborhood as long as their community is safe. They don’t care if you have health care as long as their family is insured.

There are a lot of problems in this world. But God has already done what He needs to do to solve them. He created you.

THE PLAYERS: Earth – The Arena #1

by Robert Dennis Wilson

SCIENCE OPENED A DOOR – SOMETHING CAME THROUGH!
(It has an agenda!)

This exciting Sci-Fi/Spiritual Warfare novel overflows with inter-dimensional visitors, psychic experimentation, threats of inter-dimensional warfare, disappearing people, lots of action, and enough romance to keep it interesting.

Professor Horace Thompson and his team have just successfully completed a world-changing experiment in the newly legitimized science of Parapsychology. Using electronic devices that boost the mind’s weak ESP signals, they successfully communicated thoughts over a distance of 56 miles.

Suddenly their world changes even more. Their experiment opens a crack between dimensions and the form of a huge god-like alien temporarily materializes in front of them. Before he disappears, this apparently peaceful being informs them that his advanced race, the “Teachers”, desires to not only once again assist mankind, as they have in the ancient past, but to also support them against their common interdimensional enemy.

What does it all mean? Two ancient and diametrically opposed alien civilizations have for millennia chosen the planet Earth to be the ideological arena where they confront each other. One side champions Law and a society based on unchanging Absolutes; the other promotes Liberty, License, and Free Choice.

Throughout the ages of Man, we, like unsuspecting pieces on a chess board, have been chosen to be the PLAYERS in their deadly game. But a change is taking place, one which will force every inhabitant of Earth to choose active membership in one side or the other. The alien Overlords are suddenly moving out of the shadows and our planet is about to become the devastated battleground – the Arena – where they will openly face each other in final and ultimate conflict. And God help the human who gets in their way or who chooses the wrong side!

This manuscript garnered the “Alpha Award” (presented to a new author of fiction) at the Sandy Cove Christian Writers Conference in Northeast, MD.

Zacchaeus (Pulpit to Page)

by Scott Toney

Zacchaeus

Issue 1 of â??Pulpit to Page’

This is a sermon given by Lance King at Chestnut Grove and scribed by Scott J. Toney, so that it may be a blessing. Full permission to scribe this sermon is given by Lance King and 50% of all revenue is donated to Chestnut Grove so that it may be used toward Church ministries.

*Excerpt*

Now, today you heard the story about Zacchaeus. How many of you know about Zacchaeus? How many of you know the song about Zacchaeus? Well let’s just hear it.

Zacchaeus was a wee little man, and a wee little man was he.

Perfect. Zacchaeus is a man you know. And what you know about Zacchaeus, even if you don’t know anything else, is you know that he was a wee little man, right, and so you probably have a cartoon image in your head that you got in second grade about Zacchaeus. This is the little tiny guy that climbed a tree, right?

Well I invite you today to consider suspending what you think you know about Zacchaeus. Epic Tettus taught that you can teach a person anything except that which they think they already know. Many of you think you know Zacchaeus. Luke introduces five characteristics about Zacchaeus that I hope will challenge what you think about him. And today’s text tells the story. In Chapter 19, Verse 2, we have the first of five.

One thing we know about Zacchaeus. It’s something about what he did. We see that a man was there in Jericho named Zacchaeus and he was a chief Tax Collector. Zacchaeus lived in a town, Jericho, where there was lots of commerce. It was on a trade route, lots of business, so there would have been lots of tolls and taxes to collect. Zacchaeus would have been a prominent figure. He was a business owner. He was someone who had some social status in the community. He wouldn’t have been liked by others because he had a legal legitimacy, a power legally to go to the ordinary folks and say you owe twelve coins, but I want fourteen or else I’m gonna turn you in or steal your sheep or something like that. He had the power legally to do that. That kind of power generally creates a kind of awkwardness socially. If I said that to you you’d think, I’m not so sure I want to be around that fella. Zacchaeus was that guy. He was known by everyone and liked by almost no one. He was a chief tax collector, a man of status in Jericho. His relationship with the crowd socially would have been tenuous at best and tumultuous at worst.

Transformation: The Emergence of the Crystalline System

by gia combs-ramirez

In 2004 during a simple meditation session, two friends received a new energy protocol that became known as Crystalline Consciousness Technique. Although they were astounded at what this energy technique was achieving in healing and manifesting, the new energy system that was unleashed with the protocol was even more miraculous. The story of CCT, the crystalline system and the importance of embracing transformation is shared, explored and revealed in this metaphysical book of importance about the future of our world.

Author’s Note for Reader’s: The Crystalline System is something that is emerging throughout the world. The author tells the story of how she found out about it through the protocol called Crystalline Consciousness Technique. There are other ways to develop a Crystalline System but the author does not explore them much in the book because she only knows this one way. However, just becoming aware of it and inviting it in may be enough to activate it.

Singing Anyway: Stories of Faith, Hope, & Love in the Fight Against Childhood Cancer

by Lizzie Cochran

True stories written by the families of children with pediatric cancer. Seven inspiring and sometimes heartbreaking true accounts of children fighting cancer with courage and optimism when it is least expected. One hundred percent of the author’s proceeds will be donated to support pediatric cancer research.

â?¥ â?¥ â?¥

The only way we can begin to offer a normal childhood to children fighting cancer is to actively pursue the research of new approaches to the treatment of pediatric cancer. With more funding and wider awareness, we can create the real possibility of more effective and less toxic treatment protocols for children diagnosed with cancer. We can put more children into remission and, perhaps one day, even achieve that magic word: cure.

The purpose of this book is simple: to tell the stories of seven children who have fought or continue to fight cancer.

Their stories are told through the words of those fighting with them – their friends and family members. These children have endured more in their years than most of us will in a lifetime. They are heroes in the truest sense of the word. I wish that this book could do justice to their bravery, but I know it cannot. Neither can this book take away their pain or fight their battles for them. It cannot give back their childhoods. What it can do is tell their stories and, through their stories, play a role in preventing other children from having to endure the effects of cancer.

Only by finding a cure will we be able to give these children the kind of childhood they desire and the kind of future they deserve.

â?¥ â?¥ â?¥

All proceeds from this book will be used to fund pediatric cancer research though Miracle Players Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to finding a cure for childhood cancer. Only by searching for a cure can we hope to grant children days full of princesses instead of needle pricks, school instead of surgeries, and birthday parties instead of blood transfusions. Only by finding a cure will we be able to give them back the kind of childhood they desire and the kind of future they deserve.

21 Powerful Scriptures – To Lift Up Your Worship Experience (Quick Guide – Powerful Scriptures)

by Boomy Tokan

As good as it is to worship in song, it is just one of the forms of worship a believer can express towards God. For example the very first time the word worship was used in the Bible we find Abraham taking up Isaac to a mountain to sacrifice him to God.

At that point of worship (for that was the word he used when he was talking to his servants) there was no music, no keyboard and drums but a heart longing to do God’s will.

Therefore, from this, we understand that worship is from the heart and can be expressed in various ways. It could be expressed by the way a believer gives; by the way a believer praises in times of trouble; by spending time in the word or however else the Holy Spirit chooses to inspire the heart of the believer.

One important point worth mentioning here is that the believer should come to a worship service ready to contribute to the worship experience. Unfortunately many are waiting for the choir or the praise team to inspire them in their worship experience rather than come with a heart ready to give praise no matter the circumstance.

I have put together Scriptures that I believe will help us learn and understand the true meaning of worship as well as enable us to express our worship in a meaningful spirit filled manner.

EXCERPT FROM BOOK

Colorful graffiti paints a picture of urban decay on brick walls throughout the neighborhood. Masterpieces meshed into gang scrawls, meshed into tags scribbled hurriedly in random acts of rebelliousness.

Laughter hangs in the air, mingling with the summer breeze and whispering past the ears of those of us too naïve to understand the reality of our surroundings.

The carefree happiness of children blinds them to the anxieties that systematically ages young adults once they finally notice the garbage littering the very streets that they play in. They have neither the understanding, nor the awareness to realize the men around them have been imprisoned by their own failures. They haven’t yet learned to identify the women stuck within the routines of their own meager realities.

Children only hear the laughter. Children have no vision beyond the man selling lemonade, the old lady selling roses or the dice game on the corner they wish they were old enough to play.

Perhaps it is inevitable for us kids to take happiness and peacefulness for granted because we don’t quite understand the power of time; the only constant that promises to change everything that it touches. And change is exactly what time inflicted on all of us, that summer of 1986.

My name is Kevin Miles. I’ve been told that I was a grown man, trapped inside a nine year old body. My father, Darren Miles, and I, stand in the backyard under the cherry tree, with a fruit-picker extended to its fullest length.

“Why can’t we just buy cherries from the store?” I ask.

“Because, the sweetest cherry is the one you pick yourself,” dad responds.

“And you know how you love your sweets!” dad jokes as he hands me the fruit-picker.

“Yeah, the tree is almost dead, but there’s still a couple more good cherries all the way at the top.”

I stand on my toes and extend it as high as I can.

“Right there. You got it. Now grab that big one right there,” dad encourages.

I gently tug on the cherry until it falls into the cup. A sense of accomplishment arises…

Rethinking God, the Cosmos, and Other Little Things: A Journey from Belief to Reason

by Gary Bond

Are you eager to ask the questions you’ve been told not to ask?
Are you no longer satisfied with beliefs based on faith alone?
Are you bold enough even to ask, “Is God real?”
Most importantly, are you willing to follow where the questions lead?

What is the book about?

In Rethinking God, the Cosmos, and Other Little Things, Gary Bond invites the reader to join him on his journey from belief to skepticism. This journey ultimately led to Bond’s renouncing Christianity and his embracing a life of apostasy as a “rethinker.”

When Bond began rethinking the foundational beliefs upon which his life was built, life could not have been more safe, secure, and comfortable. He found himself a model Baptist church member, leader of a men’s ministry, Sunday school teacher, facilitator of seminars, author of a Christian book, and owner of a Christian bookstore.

But nagging doubts would eventually lead Bond to end the religious charade and become honest with himself. A central question permeated Bond’s rethinking: Does this make sense?

This book explores questions not only about God, the Bible, and religion, but “other little things” as well, such as the Universe, the American government, human motivations, religion-less moralityâ??and yes, sex.

Who is this book for?

If you are comfortable and happy and confident in your beliefs, then this book will probably not persuade you otherwise. However, if you have persistent doubts about your belief system, then this book can serve as a catalyst to begin your own “rethinking” of why you believe what you believe. Perhaps you may begin to realize that while beliefs often serve as illusion builders, disillusionment might provide a breakthrough to discovering reality.

If you find yourself, as the author did, in any of the following circumstances, you may consider joining the journey:

  • Burdened by a seeming lack of enough faith to accept what you’re told by religious authorities
  • Confused by the many interpretations of scripture and the resulting varying views and factions within the Christian community
  • Fearful of expressing the inner doubt, Is God a delusion? and afraid to ask questions that would put you in the camps of agnosticism and atheism
  • Not wanting to lose the respect and closeness of friends and family
  • Scared that your doubts will doom you to an eternal hell

Why should you read this book?

This book will certainly have different effects on different readers. The author’s experiences will not necessarily be your experiences. But there will be inevitable similarities, especially for those who question the Christian faith.

Here are some possible benefits to reading Rethinking God, the Cosmos, and Other Little Things:

  • To better understand how beliefs can ensnare the mind, build illusions, and leave no room for questions
  • To bring to light the many inconsistencies within the Christian religion that most Christians choose to ignore
  • To realize that religion does not have to be off-limits to the logic and reason that you apply to every other facet of life
  • To learn the methods of becoming a rethinker

Bond’s desire is that through reading this book, you may also experience the power of free thought. Consider this book a traveling companion on a journey of doubt and questions. The journey is surely not always easy and may disrupt your life completely. But Bond encourages you to take comfort in the knowledge that many sojourners have come before you, and many are joining the journey now. You are not alone.

SPEECHLESS

Mental pictures

That don’t translate

To ears language.

Overtaken

With cold-weather frustration

That quivers the body.

Releasing,

Leaving behind an empty shell…

Like one-shot

To expose my soul.

No clothes,

I walk spiritually naked,

Until I circle the globe.

Seeking love

That left my heart

To return as the blood

That pumps

Through

Arteries, and…

I’ll die without

Your movement

On my inner.

Leaving me

Cold as winter ice

That never melts,

No matter the weather.

I suffer from voice

With no projection…

That freezes in mid-air,

To crash to the ground,

Shatter, and…

I just want to talk to You.

AMAZING GRACE: The Storm Is Passing Over

by Burton Barr Jr.

One stormy Chicago winter, while walking with my father, a sudden snowstorm arose. Having left my gloves at homeâ??thinking it wasn’t cold enough to wear themâ??I had to put my hands in my pockets. My father said, “Son, if it’s cold enough for you to put your hands in your pockets, it’s cold enough for you to wear your gloves.” Dad took his gloves off and handed them to me. We made it home safely through the storm. We all go through difficult times in our lives. However, we don’t realize how much trouble we’re in until the rough times turn into a storm. God has already given us everything we need to survive any stormâ??His Word. Instead of reading it and applying it to our lives, we leave it at home, closed up, sitting on the dresser. Amazing Grace tells us that God will forgive us no matter what we’ve done and that we can be used to fulfill His Will.

Companioning the Sacred Journey: A Guide to Creating a Compassionate Container for Your Spiritual Practice

by JoAnn Saccato

Companioning the Sacred Journey: A Guide to Creating a Compassionate Container for Your Spiritual Practice is the profound wisdom of self-awareness tools, mindfulness meditation, recovery principles, and the personal journey of JoAnn Saccato, MA and her life with her canine companion, Shyla.

JoAnn begins the story after Shyla’s passing. Having just relocated from their ten-year stretch of time living remotely off the grid in a single room cabin (with no automobile access, running water or indoor plumbing!) in the oak woodlands of Lake County, California, JoAnn reflects on the tools gained from this profound experience and other life lessons to create a guide for others undertaking a spiritual path.

More than a mere guidebook, the poignancy of the personal timing coupled with the unfolding in the larger community of collapsing economies, environment and personal inquiries to a more spiritual way of life, Companioning the Sacred Journey brings real life experiences and compassionate ideas as touchstones to transform the reader’s own personal journey, relationships and the larger community.

JoAnn brings a hopeful vision to her clients and community by encouraging the cultivation of a spiritual path as a core requirement for our future sustainability. The book is filled with practical exercises for creating a “compassionate container” for a personal journey.

21 Powerful Scriptures – For Obtaining GOD’s Deliverance (Quick Guide – Powerful Scriptures)

by Boomy Tokan

At one time or another we all need to be delivered from something call needed to be delivered from King Arthur’s who had locked down the gates of the city and had to be let down by a rope for the walk to spice that went Jericho needed to be delivered as they had to be as they had to climb down for the wall by Rahab’s help.

Sometimes the deliverance we need comes by way of either emotional deliverance or spiritual deliverance. We are told in Colossians Chapter 1 that HE rescued us from the Dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves in whom we have redemption and forgiveness of sins.

When Adam and Eve sinned they need a deliverance they needed to be covered spiritually and they needed to be covered physically. It does not matter how old are young you are at some point you needed or would absolutely need deliverance.

God is the greatest rescuer of all times. God absolutely has strategies that can never be dreamed about, can never be thought about; in his arsenal. And God is willing to use those to use to deliver his children.

There are so many Scriptures implied and explicit about God’s deliverance. Can you imagine the strategies that God employed to deliver David from the hands of Saul from the hands of the Philistines and all of his enemies?

In this book I will bring you into New Testament Scriptures and stories of Old Testament Scriptures and stories that shows how God is willing and able; have delivered and want to deliver us!

I Found God Through Birds

by Kiandokht Namsehchi

My impressions of birds began in the Middle East, and followed me to my current home, England. And birds continue to inspire! No matter where I travel, these days, I find that birds have a lot to say to me.

“How I Found God through Birds” explains in simple, no-nonsense terms how I discovered deep meanings and the utmost value in the myriad posturings, glances and expressionsâ??yes, expressions!â??of our fine feathered friends.

My little book is literally about how I, someone who is not by any means extraordinaryâ??I fancy I am exactly like those who are called to read my book, in factâ??managed to decipher the fascinating, life-affirming messages the birds were transmitting. In the process, I found God anew.

What first caught my attention was how SIMILAR human expressions were to birds’. On many occasion, it seems as if humans and birds were mirroring each other!

VOICE of the ANGEL:The Healing Oracles from the City of God

by Frank DiVita

For most people life is a mysteryâ?¦

It’s as if we live a life confined to a few pages within the middle of a novel, never knowing the beginning and never having knowledge of the endingâ?¦

In not understanding the Why of our Creation, we respond and react to the repetitive trials and tribulations that confront us armed only with the tools that were given to us by our parents. Parents who themselves have lived a life of the in-betweenâ?¦As the blind leading the blind, we continue forward on the road that perpetually merges within itselfâ?¦always going in a circle.

Religions have attempted to come to our aid, but their own need for power, money and position, have distorted the clarity of the message of what it is to be a Spiritual Human. Religion, a crutch that may be used as a stepping stoneâ?¦It enables us to walk forward, yet leaves us with no possibility of ever running or flying within any freedom of living, in the direction of our own choice to God.

Our human mind has also attempted to come to our aid, but the mind has great attachments due to its driving forceâ?¦the EGO. The Big Bang needed to satisfy the human ego has created fantasy filled past realities involving Alien transplants and cloning: dissertations fashioning a whole human evolution by the genetic manipulations of extra terrestrials. Or, on its more conservative level, the mind by tapping into the surface of the truth, has adopted a prepackaged series of intellectual mantras, seemingly the manuals that give us the recipe to escape the wheel of our continuing incarnations. Yet in truth, our human mind can only create for us the Illusion of Escape, by stealthily placing on us another mask, although appearing more beautiful and angelic, still a more subtle mask of our own Ego.

Written at the entry of the temple of Delphic Oracle were the words “Know Thyself.” The ancient seers knew that our spiritual journey begins by entering within the depths of our own psycheâ?¦This self created journey home resembles a snow flakeâ?¦appearing the same from a distance, yet under closer inspection, it is as individual as the intricate lace that creates its beauty.

All we need to find Joy and Peace in life is the desire and the tools given to us by the Spiritual Teachers of Love and Compassion that have come to intercede on our behalfâ?¦The ancients were given these tools, in time they were lost. Now, they have returned, and have been given to usâ?¦all we need to do is reach for them.

Come and join with us, on your Soul’s Journey of Spiritual Self Discovery, with the VOICE of the ANGEL: “The Healing Oracles from the City of God”

You no longer need 50+ different translations that create doubt – with errors between 5% to 15% – in the understanding of the meaning of the “Book of Allah” in English. Not to mention, the second and largest chapter in the Holy Koran begins with the verse â?¦ That is the book where there is no doubt â?¦

It is regrettable, that there are many Muslims today, who are reading the Holy Koran – even in Arabic – and do not understand it.

1. When pronouns are capitalized they refer to the Creator, Allah.
Examples: You, He, Him, His and Own while pronouns such as Our, Ours, Us and We denote His Greatness not plurality.

2. To spell “Koran” as “Quran” is inaccurate from the English point of view. This is because the third letter after “Q” must be followed by a vowel as in the words quick and quite. The Turks and Spanish Muslims do not use the letter “Q” rather they use the letters “K” or “C”.

3. Our other edition of the meaning of the Koran is now available with over 1700 subtitles. The reader will notice when reading this edition that we have left a blank line for each subtitle place.

4. We are about to release the best explanation of Koran by Prophet Muhammad himself with 1337 authentic Prophetic sayings, 1700 subtitles, 900 Features, 830 Interpretations.

If you were to spend 30 years dedicated to the study of the text of the Koran itself with no other book to assist you in its understanding and had started with

(1) An Arabic copy of the Koran
(2) and the 50 or more English translations available on the market that have between 5% and 15% mistakes, you would still face many problems.

Translation into English alone took us over 15 years

2 rational, logical and reflective articles (THE INVITATION SERIES) words: 7236. By Mohammed Raj

by Mohammed Raj

This death makes life worthless especially for atheists. In this case and also generally nothing belongs to us. Thousands of people die in their sleep, young and old. Doctors do not really know the cause but they assume it is a silent heart attack. Death is the destroyer of pleasures. Have we thought about why it is?

Scientists believe that the sun in about 4.5 billion years will become a red giant and the earth will be vaporized. So mankind as we know will no longer exist. The nearest earth like planet is about 20 light years from earth (Gliese 581d) the fastest thing we have is the speed of the voyager 1 which can travel 11 miles per second and therefore 39000 miles per hour. But 20 light years is 120 trillion miles. It will take mankind 340,000 years to get to earth like planet Gliese 581. Every body on board will die after 140 years.

21 Powerful Scriptures – For Your Wedding Day Celebration (Quick Guide – Powerful Scriptures)

by Boomy Tokan

For many people the wedding day is one of the most important days of one’s life. Much effort is put into the wedding day, The financial cost and the stress of the day is huge to say the least.

However the joy of being married supersedes all the hassle of the day. Wedding days are wonderful because it is the gateway towards a wonderful married life, a time of love and sharing between two people plus the opportunity to have godly offspring.

We have to say that the wedding that the Bible recognises is the marriage of the male and female. It is on this premise that I’ve written this book. So the book is written towards Adam and Eve and not Adam and Steve.

God’s plan for marriages is that the two people the male and female remained together for life. At the time of writing this book the average divorce rate is 50% in the US and 42% in the UK, A far cry from God’s original plan.

What can we do? We can absolutely and definitely pray for our marriages, beginning at the wedding day. There is a saying that people who pray together stay together.

I want us to think about the Scriptures written in this book, and then begin to pray into our lives as much as we can.

By doing this we will defeat the agenda of the devil and ensure that our marriages do not go the way of the negative statistics.

21 Powerful Scriptures – On What The Word Of GOD Can Do For You! (Quick Guide – Powerful Scriptures)

by Boomy Tokan

Naturally speaking words are powerful. Words can produce emotions; thoughts; words produces pictures; words are the tools of communication; in fact we cannot exist without words.

Words are what Adam used to name animals and the Bible says whatever he called every living creature that was its name.

Enters God. Hebrews Chapter 11 verse two tells us that: By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. Words are what God used to make the universe the Bible says also in Genesis Chapter 1: God said let there be light and there was.

So we see that God’s words are extremely powerful they’re able to shape our lives. One of my favourite Scriptures has to be Isaiah 55 verses 10 to 11 and I use that in the book as well it says in the Amplified Version: for as the rain and snow, come down from the heavens and return not there again but water the earth and make it bring forth and sprouts that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth it shall not return to me void (without producing any effect, useless) but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Reading this almost makes me feel like running around the room. That is what we have in our hands the true word of God that is able to shape and transform our lives to become what God has said it would be.

Now this is the truth, will I believe what God says in his word and will I put it into practice? Will I continue to speak it over situations even when it looks like things are not changing? Or am I going to return to the old ways of just saying what I can see instead of what I want?

If anyone can deal with these questions and step to the side of using God’s words then there will be God’s kind of results in every aspect of our lives in our health, finance, in salvation, in business, in our homes, in our marriages, in our children’s lives and in anything for which we can find the appropriate word of God to use.

We are so blessed having God’s word to use. More so we have the Holy Spirit who will interpret the word to us so that we may use it more effectively. Praise be to the Lord in Jesus name amen

21 Powerful Scriptures – To Increase Your Faith (Quick Guide – Powerful Scriptures)

by Boomy Tokan

Everyone must learn, understand and comprehend the truth surrounding the subject of faith because without faith is it is impossible to please God. Bible also tells us that the righteous will live by faith. Therefore unless we understand and truly begin to walk in the fullness of faith there would be certain things lacking in our spiritual maturity.

One awesome scripture in the Book of Romans says that anything that is not done by faith is sin!

I wonder how many of us stop to think about that. So therefore this could mean if we don’t eat by faith it is sin, if you do not get on the bus by faith it is sin; if you don’t drive your car by faith it is sin.

This is to show the importance of faith in our lives.

Faith is not something that some people have and others do not. Actually in this book I left out this scripture in one Corinthians 12 that talks about the gift of faith which some people have or can manifest through any believer in certain circumstances. I’m talking about the faith that all of us have.

So every born-again believer has faith in fact the bible reminds us that we are saved by Grace through faith; so you see you cannot even get saved except that you had the faith of Christ in you.

All of us have faith it just depends on how we develop it. I really hope we all learn from this book the truth about faith and how we can all grow/increase in our faith!

21 Powerful Scriptures – To Keep You In GOD’s Perfect Peace (Quick Guide – Powerful Scriptures)

by Boomy Tokan

The dictionary definition of peace and the Bible definition of peace differs considerably. The dictionary says peace is the absence of war but the Hebrew definition of peace means; to restore in the sense of replacing or providing what is needed in order to make someone or something whole and complete.

My pastor once defined peace as not the absence of war but the calmness and confidence somebody experiences during a time of difficulty and trial. That makes sense otherwise why would Peter tied by four squads of soldiers dare to fall asleep? The only reason that could be is that the church was praying for him and he rested in the confidence of the word JESUS had given him.

Peace helps you to know that your prayers have been answered by GOD. Peace is the fruit of the SPIRIT and helps you to carry on your walk with GOD even in times of trouble. Without the presence of peace there would be fear, anxiety, worry and every of other negative emotion.

This Scriptures on peace will help you centre your focus on the Word of GOD and the blessing that comes as a result of staying focused on JESUS CHRIST.

21 Powerful Scriptures – To Make You A Better Disciple and A Qualified Disciple Maker For JESUS CHRIST (Quick Guide – Powerful Scriptures)

by Boomy Tokan

If we’re not careful we tend to look at disciple making as something we may choose to do or not do. Nothing like this can be far removed from the truth about what GOD actually wants.

The average believer believes that the reason why they are saved is so they can go to heaven. Some do better by knowing that the reason they are saved is so they can have an everlasting life which means having a relationship with JESUS CHRIST. (See John 17 the high priestly prayer of our Lord JESUS CHRIST)

Question then arises; if all I am to do is to get saved and have a wonderful relationship with JESUS CHRIST, which includes spending eternity with him in heaven why don’t I just die immediately I get saved?

The answer is that GOD expects you to become a disciple and then become a disciple making disciple. In other words GOD’s agenda is that you become a disciple maker!

I have endeavoured to put together the Scriptures that will help us pray through and decide to do the will of GOD. I have no doubt that anyone that reads these Scriptures will have a changed life and become a better disciple maker in the process.

The Canon: Selected Topics In Canon Of The Bible

by Dr. Johnson C. Philip

How was the Bible written? Who wrote it? Was writing material available then? Who decided what the Canon included and what it did not include. Has anyone seen the original manuscripts of the Bible? How can we be sure that what we have today is a faithful reproduction?

All the above, and many more, questions are answered in this book. It is a book meant for the informed layperson, and is not a technical work.

A Light to the Path (A Church Family Novella)

by Esther Hope

Members of the Church Family learn about trusting the Holy Spirit to give them the desires of their hearts; there’s Catherine, the church secretary, Shannon, the librarian, and then there are newcomers to the church. In this, Book 1, Gregory’s church family disintegrates when the church goes bankrupt and the bank forecloses on the church. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, will Gregory find a new church family? Or will he lose his home and be left without a job? The only way Gregory will survive this crises of faith is to trust the Holy Spirit to light the path before him, even though it means attending a new church and meeting new people.

Read an excerpt:

Gregory felt that the life he had built in the small town was an established foundation; he was employed, he had a church, and he trusted in the Lord, his rock.

And yet all that changed one day when he showed up on a Wednesday morning in his blue Ford Ranger pickup truck, expecting to change some light bulbs and do some maintenance in one of the Bible Study rooms. Instead of the pastor’s vehicle, there was the locksmith and the sheriff standing in front of the church.

He felt like a helpful member of the community as he approached them. “Excuse me fellows, but can I help you?”

But in the next moment, that perception of who he was, who his church was, shattered. He was completely unprepared for the devastation the sheriff was about to reveal.

“Your church has been foreclosed on.” The sheriff drawled. Behind him, the locksmith was changing the locks on the building that Gregory had visited every day almost every year of his adult life, where he had been every Sunday since he was young boy.

The sheriff explained more, but Gregory was reeling. He felt the world slide sideways, and he slowly turned and went back to sit in his pickup. He opened the door and noticed the church newsletter, printed on A4 white paper, crumpled up behind the seatbelt.

It was dated from four weeks earlier. Gregory sunk into the seat and shook the wrinkles out of the paper so he could read it, hoping for some explanation. At the very top, there was a plea for offerings, with a short outline of the church budget and expenses and â?¦ there it was â?¦ a plea to save the church.

Gregory felt a hard knot of guilt form in his gut as he read it. He had assumed that the call for donations was just the usual reminder to put God first in one’s life, even in material things. He hadn’t realized that he was about to lose his church family. He thought that the church was using hyperbole to exaggerate its need. He felt like his salary was too small, sometimes. But not now, not when the whole church building had just been taken away.

Now, he felt convicted, and even punished. Would he have a salary? Severance pay? When would he have trouble paying rent? Months from now? Weeks?

He dialed his pastor’s number. It rang, and rang, and rang. Gregory sat in his truck, wondering when any other church staff would show up. Meanwhile, the locksmith and the sheriff drove off.

Gregory decided to drive around the back of the church and see if the shed was open. He kept his tools in there, and while he considered them tools for using in the service of God, he had bought and paid for them. And he would not let the bank take tools dedicated to the Lord’s work and auction them off for pennies.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. (1 Peter 4:9-11)

Lucid Dreaming – Become the Master of Your Dreams

by Lucas Dreyer

When you dream in your sleep, are you aware that you are dreaming? When you wake up in the morning, do you remember exactly what you had dreamt about? If you’re having a nightmare, can you control what is happening in your dream? What about those pleasant dreams? Do you have the ability to willingly dream those dreams over and over again? For most people, all of these seem quite impossible, but some people actually have the ability for these. It’s called Lucid Dreaming.

Lucid dreaming, in scientific terms, is that phenomenon of the mind wherein a person is dreaming, but then he is also aware that he is actually dreaming. When a person has lucid dreams, his mind has higher amounts of beta-1 frequency bands, which means there is an increased activity in his brain’s parietal lobes, thus making the dreams more conscious.

The eBook provides some scientific as well as cultural/historical background regarding this rare phenomenon, and it includes some proven strategies on how you can start controlling your dreams. It reveals 10 powerful techniques on how to make your dreams more â??lucid’ or vivid.

“Lucid Dreaming: Become the Master of your Dreams” also tackles some of the most common misconceptions about lucid dreaming, its possible dangers when misused, and other related subconscious phenomenon. Lucid dreaming has been around since the beginning of history and lately, it’s drawing more and more attention not just from the scientific or medical field.

Although most people â??believe’ that their dreams are real (hence they also have the slightest awareness that they are dreaming), still, the brain is so powerful and mysterious that anyone can train it so that he or she can be more conscious when dreaming. With this book, “Lucid Dreaming: Become the Master of your Dreams”, you will learn how to consciously will your mind to control the situations happening in your dreams so that ultimately, you can become the Master of Your Dreams.

The Silent Meditation

by Viv Rosser

This silent meditation is an opportunity to sink into the pictures. Like the old silent movies it tells a tale of silence, love and friendship. The swans meet and commit themselves to each other for the rest of their lives. There is a flowering with lots of joyous meditative mandalas but above all these illustrations honour the beauty of swans swimming gracefully on the water.

21 Powerful Scriptures – Enjoy the Empowerment of Grace (Powerful Scriptures – Quick Guide)

by Boomy Tokan

Grace can be termed as meaning; favour, mercy and kindness. The Bible makes us to understand that the law came through Moses but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

If we combine the fact that Grace means favour, mercy and kindness and we also realise that Grace came through Jesus then anyone who is a believer in Christ automatically has Grace and should enjoy Grace.

However the degree to which anyone can enjoy this Grace would depend on how well they are familiar with accessing that favour, mercy and kindness.

Ultimately Grace is much more! It is the power to function, the ability to actually do something, in other words it is the power given by the Holy Spirit to excel in certain areas or function for which God has called the believer.

Paul speaking in 1 Corinthians 15 says “…but by the grace of God I am what I am and he’s Grace to me was not without effect, no I worked harder than all of them yet not I but the Grace of God that was in me” We can learn a few things that Grace is.

Grace brought Paul into the kingdom. Grace is what enabled him to have effect and Grace is what made him work harder than the other apostles.

We can now begin to understand why the words Grace and Peace are so prevalent in the writing of the Apostles in Hebrews chapter 4 we’re told that we should come confidently to the throne of grace where we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Before I go I must remind us that Grace does different things in the believers life; in 2 Corinthians Chapter 8 we are told that but in everythingâ??in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you see that you also excel in this grace of giving.

Paul is saying that the ability to give also works by Grace!

In this book there are 21 Scriptures that will help you to function more than ever in the grace God has available for you. Without any doubt we must understand that whatever we need Grace is unavailable for it.

Bible Study #51 Major Prophets Series Isaiah 50-66 (Bible Study With John Ogwyn)

by John Ogwyn

“We are dealing with a wrap-up of the book of

Isaiahâ??chapters 50-66, the concluding chapters

of the book of Isaiah. This particular section

deals with prophecies that almost entirely look

forward to the time of the Messiah. There are a

lot of details given concerning Christ’s first

coming and His crucifixion in Isaiah 53, as well

as 50 and 52. This section gives some of the most

detailed prophecies of His scourging and

subsequent execution. The events and reasons

surrounding these actions are given in the

material we are covering this evening. The Jews

did not understand these things. They did not

understand this at the time these events occurred

and they really have no real idea of the meaning

of this section of Scripture to this day.

Acts 8:27-39 is a good illustration of the lack of

understanding that the Jews had as to the

meaning of this section of Scripture. We have the

story of the Ethiopian eunuch. He was an

individual of great ability and obviously he was

one of the major leaders in the nation of

Ethiopia. He was right under the Queen in charge

of the treasury. He was a highly educated man,

and like many of the upper class and educated

class of Ethiopians of his day, he practiced the

religion of Judaism.

A number of the upper-class Ethiopians had

practiced the religion of Judaism from the time…” Read More!!

Carlos Castaneda doctrine:practice of lucid dreaming

by Sergey Matyushkov

During the last ten years I practiced diligently the lucid dreaming and I got serious results in this shaman technique not so simple. And now it is time to tell you, dear readers, about new and secure techniques of entering in a fascinating world of the lucid dreaming where your possibilities are unlimitedâ?¦

According to Carlos Castaneda the lucid dreaming is the controlled dream when the person is aware 100% that he is not dreaming in his bed but awakened and make some actions. Sometimes the dreams world seem more realistic that our daily reality.

Maybe many readers after the Carlos Castaneda books using the Steven LaBerge techniques remained deceived. And it stands to reason. The techniques of entering in lucid dreaming that proposes Steven LaBerge, are directed only on the repeated reinforcement in a dream “brightness of the impressions” that depend on the imagination of the person. Every lucid dream is more realistic than ordinary uncontrolled dream.

The reader must get clear: techniques of Steven LaBerge have nothing to do with shaman practices of entering into the Lucid Dreaming!

The practice of lucid dreaming after Castaneda allows step by step to develop the dreaming attention. Afterwards this will bring the fusion of the dreaming attention with the first attention (daily attention). What does it mean?

If you’ll make work your attention in the lucid dream as it works in the daily life, the dream will be the reality. Remember how the Sabre Tooth Tiger learned Carlos Castaneda to special breathing exercises. The physic body immediately « responded » and became more muscular.

In your dreams you can see the forthcoming events, write the poetry or poems, invent or make scientific discoveries (like the Russian scientist D. Mendeleev saw his Periodic Table in a dream). And you can also contact the spirits and get the answers to the questions that interest you, communicate with the souls of your parents or friends tragically perished, travel in the parallel worlds, study the physical word in the astral body – you’ll see on your own that it happened.

So, dear reader, let’s dive into the magic world of the lucid dreaming, in the genuine magic tradition of Toltecs (ancient Mexico tribe).

“Why do you preserve yourself for? For old age? It is not the best of the worlds. Don’t waste your precious time for the daily routine and start from now on to penetrate the mysteries of the Universe! It’s time, and the path is the dream. It is impossible to figure it out. Who we are? ” (Message of Carlos Castaneda)

Why The Ancients Knew Your Future.

by Larry Kreeger

The Bible was meant to be understood. It was written in the languages of the common man. The New Testament wasn’t written in the language of the scholar, but the language of man in the street.

So why are the unfulfilled prophecies so hard to understand? They were written to the people living over 2,000 years ago. The prophecies were written in their language and refers to their customs and objects with which they were familiar.

So how can we understand the prophecies? Well, you would be amazed how clear things become with the help of a little archeology and a little understanding of their culture.
