Ripped apart by the Civil War, the young couple must find a way to keep their secret love alive. The end of the War should mean a joyous reconciliation, but when Rafe is accused of a terrible crime, he runs away, leaving Livvie behind once again. Will this finally break their bond, or will their love survive?

A sweeping romance set in the South, Undaunted Love is a tale of faith, hope, patience and the redemption of God’s love.

“What I loved about this book was the dedication of this couple to each other. This is what marriage is supposed to be but seldom is now. The historical setting added flavor to the story.” Faye Miller on Amazon

Skeptic’s Guide to Intuition: How Developing Intuition Can Improve the Way You Live and Work

by Alina Bas

Have you ever made a brilliant decision based on a gut feeling, without having access to all the necessary information? Could that be just luck? Is it wise to listen to your intuition, since the science behind it is still lacking?

Alina Bas, a left-brainer and a trained intuitive, guides skeptics through scientific and anecdotal evidence of intuition, separating useful practices from illusions. She takes a down-to-earth approach to exploring the nature of intuition, without resorting to the supernatural. In this book, you will find logical and enlightening ideas:

· Why you should care about intuition, whether or not you are a believer in psychic ability

· What Uri Geller, Wolf Messing, and Sylvia Brown really have to do with intuition

· Why it has been difficult to reliably study intuition , and how scientific research is now catching up

· Reasons why intuitives are often wrong, and how that can be changed

· Ways to tell when your gut feeling is right

· How left-brainers and skeptical inquirers can use intuition to make their lives safer, happier, and more interesting without fundamentally changing their belief system

Alina takes the veil of mystery off intuition, helping skeptics make the most of their hunches without crossing the line into woo-woo.

A Quest for More: Living for Something Bigger than You

by Paul David Tripp

Paul David Tripp expertly traverses the deepest recesses of the human heart and compassionately invites fellow Christian travelers to journey with him into God’s bigger kingdom.

The author promises readers that they will be encouraged, excited, and motivated by hope as they learn how to set aside their “little kingdom” attachments which can expertly masquerade within the church as Christian activism, legalism, emotionalism, formalism, creedalism, and externalism; in favor of God’s expansive and soul-freeing eternal quest. Tripp demonstrates through sound biblical principles how humanity is made by God to transcend far beyond the mere physical realm and is likewise created to be “glory junkies;” those whose visionary lives are governed by God’s grand purposes rather than existing only within their narrow self-interested confines.

Writes the author, “It is a fundamental denial of your humanity to narrow the size of your life to the size of your own existence, because you were created to be an ‘above and more’ being. You were made to be transcendent.” Tripp then shows Christians how to “transcend” through daily, moment-by-moment, practical methodology that transforms individuals into the image of Christ. It is within this purpose-driven framework, this “Quest for More”, that Paul Tripp compels believers to see beyond the worldly deception of personal achievement, success, materialism, in order to break free from this ungodly fulfillment that is too easily satisfied with a mediocre walk with Christ. Instead the author invites committed sojourners to a life characterized by an unyielding passion that pursues God simply for the pleasure of his glorious company and in the process, affect eternal change in a hurting, hopeless world.

Prolific author and international conference speaker, Paul David Tripp, is president of Paul Tripp Ministries whose mission is to educate and equip today s Christian by combining in depth study of God s Word with practical life application. Tripp, also a pastor with over 15 years of pastoral ministry, is an adjunct professor at Westminster Theological Seminary and adjunct faculty member at the Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation in Glenside, Pennsylvania. He is the author of such best-selling titles as, Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands; War of Words; Age of Opportunity; Lost in the Middle, How People Change and Relationships: A Mess Worth Making. Tripp has been married for 35 years and has four grown children.

The Amazing Journey

by Richard F Holmes

Previously published as Astral Travelling, The Avatar And Me. This is the revamped version with an extra chapter.

In 2000 my life hit rock bottom. Emotionally I was totally spent and did not see any way out of the mire that I found myself in. This book tells the story of how (with a little help) I managed to turn my life around. Miraculously at the onset of the new millenium I started to embark on a series of truly amazing out of body adventures, and as the years have gone by, I have learned to pass through solid objects, propel myself in whatever direction I wish to travel, and unbelievably, “will” myself back into my body when I become bored with the journey. As if that wasn’t incredible enough, I have also been blessed by the Avatar of the age himself, Sri Sathya Sai Baba, who first entered my life in 2001. Since then I have had a series of truly wonderous experiences with Baba, the highlights of which were being held in his arms during an out of
body experience in 2006 and seeing him in physical form at his ashram, Prasanthi Nilayam (abode of the highest peace) in Puttaparthi, Southern India in October 2009.

“If I were to say that it was a hairy experience the first time I left my body, it would be an understatement. However, as time went by it was something that I came to enjoy immensely”

Why We Run from God’s Love

by Ed Cyzewski

Most Christians can recite John 3:16: “God so loved the world…” but many doubt that God truly loves them. We all think of caveats for God’s love, struggle to pray, or fail to experience God’s acceptance. Doubting God’s love deprives us of what God freely gives: adoption into God’s family.

I wrote this book for myself. I run away from God’s love. It’s something I’m ashamed of and something that I needed to understand. I needed to crack my defenses and blinders. I hope that my fellow runaways will start asking what keeps them from God so they can stop running and find the perfect rest of God.

Do You Love Me? (Loving God Series)

by Martha Kilpatrick

The central issue of all of life is loving God, yet none of us is capable of loving Him. That is the truth, but we should never despair, because our failure to love God is His to solve. And He will, if we’ll just let Him!

In this teaching, Martha reveals the many competitors to loving God as well as the unfathomable Love that exposed themâ??a picture of the wondrous adventure of loving God by experiencing His great love for us!

Battling Satan with the Armor of God

by Ray Ruppert

Our worst enemy is Satan and it is no joke that he is seeking to devour us (1 Peter 5:8). We need to know our enemy or we will always be on the defensive and we will suffer defeat. We can’t live a victorious Christian life if we underestimate Satan’s power and abilities. We are told to take our stand against the devil’s schemes (Ephesians 6:11).

This booklet will help us understand Satan’s
abilities and the spiritual realm in which he operates. It looks at the cosmic battle that has been waging since the beginning of time, Satan’s origins, his fall, powers of heavenly beings, and more.

Knowing these things will help us understand
Satan’s capabilities so that we can use the armor of God to overcome his schemes and live a victorious Christian life.

Ray Ruppert is the author of 999 Years After
Armageddon – The End of the Millennium, a novel
describing how Satan deceives the nations at the end of Jesus’ 1000 year reign on earth. He is also the author of Reflections on First and Second Peter, his commentary on the epistles of Peter. These books are available in print and as e-books. See www.rayruppert.com for more information.

The Making of a Christian Counterculture

by Doug Erlandson

The Christian is called to be salt and light in the world. To fulfill this calling, he or she cannot live apart from the world. At the same time, because he lives in a post-Christian culture, he cannot simply accept the values, attitudes, and structures of that culture. He must become a countercultural Christian.

Being a countercultural Christian, however, does not simply mean opposing the dominant culture. It involves setting up an alternative culture in the midst of the prevailing culture, one grounded wholly in the Word of God and in a biblical worldview, one that will show the world a better way than what the world has to offer.

In The Making of a Christian Counterculture, Dr. Doug Erlandson (Ph.D, Johns Hopkins) begins by articulating the principles that must form the foundation of a Christian counterculture. After an introductory chapter describing his own journey to faith in Christ and why he became a countercultural Christian, he goes on to show why the Christian counterculture must accept as its authority the infallible and inerrant Word of God. He then argues that the Bible is far more than a manual for personal salvation but is authoritative in every area of life. The first section of the book concludes with a discussion of the steps that we must take if the Christian counterculture is to replace the prevailing anti-Christian culture, followed by a call to commitment based on the promises of Scripture that God’s Kingdom will some day be victorious.

In the next section, Dr. Erlandson focuses on the countercultural Christian as an individual, beginning with a description of the marks of a countercultural Christian, followed by a discussion of the countercultural Christian as a steward of his resources, his body, and his environment. The chapter on the Christian’s relationship to his environment compares and contrasts biblical environmentalism to the secular model prevalent in today’s society.

Moving next to the countercultural Christian family, The Making of a Christian Counterculture first presents an overview of the biblical model of the family, which includes a discussion of the relationship between husbands and wives and parents and children. Following this is a chapter defending the biblical view of the family’s authority over the education of its children, one which includes numerous practical suggestions as to how a Christian counterculture might provide for genuinely Christian education at every stage, including the college and graduate level. The last chapter of this section discusses the family’s role in providing for the welfare of its members, using the example of the Old Order Amish as a microcosm of what countercultural Christian families could do on a macroscopic scale.

The section on the countercultural church begins with a discussion of the importance of the proclamation of the whole counsel of God and God-glorifying worship. Following this, Erlandson discusses the role of the church as the body of Christ in three crucial areas. First, the countercultural church must provide a compassionate, person-centered alternative to the current statist welfare system. Second, the church must again take up its role as the healer of the body, offering a holistic alternative to the current profit-drive healthcare industry. Finally, the church must be at the forefront of reconciling people of all races, ethnic groups, and social classes.

The final section, “The Countercultural Community,” discusses the arts, the media, and the political arena, and describes how countercultural Christianity can be a transformative agent in each of these areas.

The Making of a Christian Counterculture is a visionary work. At the same time, by providing many concrete examples and suggestions, it provides a realistic, step-by-step description of how its vision can be made into a reality and how some day, by God’s grace, the Christian counterculture will take its rightful place as the culture of our society.

How To Be Rich In Faith

by Tony Egar

“Tony has always been fascinated by the effect believing has on our lives.

After years of reading books, hearing speakers and going to conferences he has found that the effect was temporary.

His personal belief is that we have a believing switch somewhere within us and if we can get it turned on; everything works, but when it is turned off nothing works.

This is his journey to find that switch and turn it on.” Lorna.

Body and Soul: The Inner Journey (Pursuit of Happiness)

by Ilana Weibel

Everyone has a personal journey to take. Each life is unique in its presence, role and purpose. The Inner Journey offers a proven and powerful model that helps readers to methodically identify the personal journey that lies ahead. Most assessment and occupational approaches relate to the person’s characteristics and typology, established from systematic questionnaires. The model developed by author Ilana Weibel in her groundbreaking book harnesses the unique individuality and hidden purpose of the reader, from within their personal fabric of desires and passions. Based upon successful outcomes with hundreds of people, the model presents a series of stages, encompassing processes and questions that carry the individual towards his or her deepest inner workings. There is no typology involved, and no pre-determined categories or pigeon holes to fit into. The work in The Inner Journey is highly personal. The process at every stage is designed to uncover and define the path that will lead to the fulfillment of the reader’s uniquely individual life mission.

QURAN and Those Who Will Enter Paradise

by Abdulwasiu Baruwa

In the Name of Allaah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

May the Blessings and Peace of Almighty Allaah be upon the best of mankind, the Last and the End of Allaah’s Prophets and Messengers – Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu ‘Alayhi Wasallam).

These compiled verses of the Noble Qur’aan about “Those Who Will Enter Paradise” contained lessons that are like a checklist for reminding ourselves everyday of what else may be improved in our lives to facilitate our ease of entering Paradise by the permission of Almighty Allaah (Subhaanahu wata’aalaa).

We need to devote ourselves to the Qur’aan by reading it with understanding for hours and hours in order to fulfil our desires to understand, absorb and live the Qur’aan. This is because our lives will remain meaningless and ruined unless they are guided by the Qur’aan, the Word of Allaah (Subhaanahu Wataâ??aalaa).

We almost have a right, in some sense and measure, to receive Qur’aan blessings today as its first believers (the Prophet’s Companions) did, provided of course that we come to share Qur’aan’s harvest. Every Muslim has a duty to devote himself or herself to reading the Qur’aan, understanding it and taking it into the heart. We must abandon ourselves totally, in thoughts and deeds to whatever the Qur’aan has to offer us. Any pride, arrogance, sense of self-sufficiency, reservation, or ingenuity that can read in it what it does not mean, is fatal to Qur’aan understanding and would shut the door to Qur’aan blessings.

This humble compilation is based on the knowledge or science of putting the verses of Al-Qur’aan dealing with one subject in one place in a particular sequence, in making the understanding of the Qur’aan easier for average Muslims like me and others.

May Allaah (‘Azzawajall) makes us among those who will enter His Paradise, Aameen.

Glorified be Allaah, and I praise Him. Glorified be You, Oh Allaah, and I praise You. I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except You, I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.

Excuse Me: a Book of Poems

by Dave Luton

This book is probably not for those who can only appreciate traditional poetry. In this book, you will find that the style is usually free verse, often personal and sometimes even confessional. It covers the following topics: my childhood and growing up; depression and the ups and downs of life; injustice and inequality; and love, faith and friendship. These poems are full of the honesty (and perhaps sometimes naïveté) of a young man suffering from clinical depression while coping with a recent divorce while trying to find the meaning of life and answers to soul-searching questions. These poems have greatly helped me, and I sincerely hope that they will do the same for you and speak to you in some way.

Simple Bible Guide

by Frank Morrow

This simple Bible guide book is for those who want to have a short summary of each book in the Bible close at hand. It is short and concise, and with very easy-to-understand explanations of God’s Word. This Bible reading guide is not for people who have extensive knowledge of the Bible as I simply cover the important basics.

The book includes a basic overview of both the Old and New Testaments and then a review of each book in the Bible.

In this short Bible study guide, each book of the Bible is explained on a single page. I include the author, the time it was written, the principle characters, some important quotes and a purpose summary at the end of each page.

I think it will make a useful resource for individuals and ministries alike.

If you have never read the Bible in detail or have tried and failed to understand it, then this book will help you out. I have kept in intentionally small as I found that many of the existing books and study guides can overwhelm people. In this book I have tried my utmost to keep it simple, factual and to the point.

With any Bible companion it is important to include the important information so as people can get exactly what they need. We also need to understand Epistles, Gospels and the many letters and what they mean. This is what I have done in this simple Bible guide.

Where Women Prefer Women, Pinkalicious

by London Tracy

Tapping into the notion that some lesbians continue to be drawn to the same type of women, Pinkalicious explores what happens when a lesbian, against her better judgment, lets her guard down for the same unavailable woman from her past, with the hope that this time will be different.

It’s been a year since McKenzie O’Neal’s heart was broken by Dillon McGee, the woman who refused to commit to her because of her on-again-off-again relationship with her first love. After licking her wounds, McKenzie is ready and eager to fall in love once again, living by only one rule–never date an unavailable woman.

On the evening of McKenzie’s birthday, she stumbles upon a chance encounter with no one other than Dillon McGee, and she is just as charming and irresistible as ever. There’s just one problem–Dillon is still semi-involved with her ex-girlfriend, and McKenzie knows that giving in to her again could cost her yet another broken heart.

“Finally, a lesbian love story about something other than coming out.”
