Teach and Travel in China: Teaching ESL Gives You A Job As Well As A Home In China

by Peter LeGrove

Do you want to teach and travel overseas? What about China? Do you want to teach and travel in China? What would you teach? ESL or English as a Second Language as it is called or something else. Would you like to teach and travel overseas? Well now you can. The world is your oyster. Why not start your teach and travel adventure in China, where they are screaming out for ESL teachers. If you are thinking of teaching overseas then China should be on your radar. The market for English as a Second Language teachers is huge. To get ahead in China you need to speak English and a large number of people over there want to learn it. So you will be in demand. In this book you will find the experience of a lifetime. And also the warnings about silly little things that could happen. China is a country of contrasts where you could be plowing along at around 350kms/hour on a brand new high speed train. And get picked up at the train station on the back of a 125 cc motorbike. You could be teaching in a fully air-conditioned state of the art classroom with all the latest mod cons and tech, or under a tree in the village square with the whole village watching you. All I can say is ‘be amazed’ because you will be. If you have been brought up in the west you are going from organization to total chaos. And you will either love your overseas experience or hate it. But you have to go and travel and teach in China to find out. Teaching ESL or English as a Second Language is not overly difficult but you have to learn the trade. You have to keep kids and adults entertained for 40 to 50 minutes and up to 2 hours depending on what school you are teaching in. So teaching in China is not a job you can just fall into. You have to learn how to do it. And in the book you will be given resources you can follow up to perfect your craft. But the longer you do it the better you get at it, as is the same with most things. There are links to job sites and what to put in you CV. But the most important is the Demo Class, and to get most jobs you have to teach a really good Demo Class. Some Demo classes are 10 minutes while others are a complete class. Also now I’ve seen on the internet that you might have to do a Demo Class on skype. Teach and travel in China could be the highlight of your overseas experience. But you have to go to China to experience teaching ESL and living in China. Now to teach and travel in China is very easy. Usually when you get a job the school will supply accommodation. That could mean, living in a dorm room at a boarding school, with meals supplied in the dining room. Or a fully furnished flat where you cook your own meals. Either way is good.

How to Travel in Europe for a Month for less than $2,500

by Andrew Russell

This is the story of how one couple travelled all over Europe for an entire month for less than $2,500 per person. When you factor in the airfare to get to Europe from the U.S., our trip was less than $3,000 per person. For fun, we documented in a journal what we did each day and how much everything cost. The journal entries expanded more and more over the course of the trip, eventually filling up an entire journal. This was the adventure of a lifetime.

We won’t be including that airfare though because fares today are higher than in 2009, and we are not covering the best way to find a great deal on airfare. Instead, you’ll find useful tips, tidbits, and what worked for us as we made our way across the continent. We started in California, flew to Germany, transferred to England, jumped over to Greece, traveled up Italy, hopped over to Spain, and finally bounced back to Germany before flying home to California.

Would you like a guide book to Rome that lets you know where to find the cheapest hotels? And the restaurants with fixed menu where you don’t spend more than 15 euros, close to the places you’ve decided to visit? If you answered yes to these questions, then this is the guide book for you. In addition to saving money, you will visit Rome with as little stress as possible. You just have to turn on your tablet and follow the complete itineraries that I have planned for you. If you read the extract, you will get an idea of what you’ll find inside. Have a good trip!
