Colors: Simple and Easy Tool to Teach Toddlers and Preschoolers Their Colors

by Daisy Dixon

This is a very simple and easy tool to teach your children, toddlers, or preschoolers their colors. As a mother of two toddlers, I find that simple sometimes is better when it comes to kid’s learning. Each page has a scribbling (similar to that of a crayon) of each color across the page and the identifying word. Colors include: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, gray, black, white, and brown. Great for waiting rooms, car rides, and as a quick color reference. I chose to do this in a very simplistic manner, because toddlers have short attention spans and sometimes too many pictures or words can be distracting.
