1000 Portuguese Verbs in Context: A Self Study Guide for Portuguese Language Leaners (1000 Verb Lists in Context Book 3)

by Alex Forero

1000 Portuguese verbs

Read on your PC, Mac, smart phone, tablet or Kindle device.

You’re about to discover over 1000 Portuguese verbs exemplified in Portuguese & English sentences.

Learning a new language is never an easy task but it doesn’t have to be hard. By learning the 1000 most used verbs in a language you give yourself a fantastic foundation to start building upon to your road to fluency.

In my book, 1000 Portuguese Verbs in Context, I give you over 1000 of the most common Portuguese verbs used today. You are given the verb in Portuguese and English with examples of the verb in a sentence, also in Portuguese and English. No more confusion about how to use the verb.

1000 words are a perfect number to aim for. It is important to give yourself goals to stay motivated and to keep yourself learning. Imagine if you learnt 10 words a day. Five in the morning and five at night. After only 100 days ( that’s just over 3 months) you would have access to 1000 verbs in your vocabulary. That really is quite a lot and would give you an excellent grasp of the language.

Far too many people expect to be speaking a new language far too quickly without putting in the time or effort. As a language teacher I can testify to seeing this too many times. I can also say that by exposing yourself to a new language daily you will surely learn it. It does take time and effort but ten words a day will give you a massive boost. If you prefer a slower pace then you could set yourself different goals.

The key to learning new vocabulary is to see it in context, that means in use. Seeing how it’s used will help you remember the word a lot better. It is also important to understand how that word should be used in a sentence.

I should also mention the FREE bonus I have included with the book is a 61 page report called “Ordinary Ways to Learn a Language Extraordinarily Fast”. Accelerate your language learning by using the right strategies and methods to master new languages easily!

Six Steps to Professional Success – CV Writing

by Gwyneth Letherbarrow

There is a statistic that says that the first time that the HR person scans your paperwork, they will spend only six or seven seconds deciding whether you deserve a closer look. If you are applying to a large organization you may not even have the benefit of a human being making that decision, it may well be a computer programme. What are you going to do to get noticed? A CV, or indeed any type of job application form is your very own form of marketing and needs to describe your talent in such a way that the person can start to picture who you are.

This book contains much of the content I use in my workshops, and the feedback I receive proves that it can work. By examining a number of key factors you need to be thinking about when you are writing your CV or filling in your application form, this book can help you ensure that your job application stands out from the others, and that your application makes it to the ‘for interview’ pile’
