Deeper Still (The Mystical Traveler Book 3)

by Fawn Moran

To all seekers on the pathâ??wisdom is your due! Don’t settle for less or assume you know anything more than your name; then forget even that. What you’re looking for has made your search possible, and it’s calling you home. Like the book says, ” Your name is on the wind. A blast of truth headed your way is about to take you in.”

“Fawn Moran has managed to distill so much wisdom into phrases that open doors that we thought were closed. Reading her words, or better still, reading them out loud, brings a resonance in the heart that remains. The distillation has clearly come from many hours of plumbing her own depths. This is not a collection of ideasâ??it’s a collection of Truth revealed. Try it. You might end up becoming what you were seeking.”

Mary-Margaret Moore,

Spiritual teacher, workshop leader, counselor and author of the Bartholomew books.

The Drunken Sweetheart at My Door

by Ken Meisel

This is a book of surrealistic, metaphysical poems about love; poems of invitation, engagement, ordeal, passion and devotion. Meisel’s poems evoke the sentinels of love through the wise voices of angels, swerving swallows, talking orchids, erotic roses, healing chocolates, delirious guitars, oil covered murres and saffron finches flying into sunbeams. In this book violins sing. Napoleon, Bach, Schumann express love to their wives, and lovers risk everything to stretch into love’s healing powers of solace, challenge, forgiveness, empathy and joy. Leaping deer become violins, a wedding ceremony is held inside a fish, and angelsâ??longing to be born into fleshâ??contemplate the definitions of beauty. Meisel’s book celebrates the unconquerable power of the female voiceâ??a voice of lyrical wisdom, honesty, beauty, fervor and graceâ??that dares the reader to believe that devotion is the aerobics of love.

Fluent in Rivers

by Kathleen Lewis

In this lyrical chapbook of poetry, Kathleen Brewin Lewis writes of a hunger to know and connect with the natural environment, to “crack the botanic bones of this evergreen world, pry ripe marrow.” Her subject matter includes moths, hawks, herons, sumac, daylilies, brown trout and brown pelicans, blue crabs, coyotes, camellias, sunrises and sunsets. Whether writing about growing up in coastal Georgia or fly-fishing in Utah, shucking corn or pruning trees, Lewis is mindful of the beauty around her and feels the pull and tug of the tide of memory. Fluent in Rivers is rich in language and longing.

Cyber Sonnet Card: Winter Solstice Longest Night

by Brian Randolph Wilson

Introducing Cyber Sonnets – The easy way to send a sonnet.

Card Text:

Longest Night

I contemplate a world of endless night:

Where there’s no solstice, and no sun’s return.

The cold and steady dying of the light –

And all the things our fading hope must burn.

Through mighty stones, we track the living sun:

The echo of our path across the sky.

For though the winter’s cold has just begun,

The spring is coming – and tonight shows why.

So gather in our sacred blue – and dance

The rhythm of the universal spheres.

The death of shadow gives our life – a chance.

We celebrate the fact that we are here.

We chase the path of stars across the sky –

The gift of fire: so we need not die.
