by Derek Schuger

This book is worth a lot of money, $1,000, $3,000, $10,000…

Studies have shown that 75% top ranked high school graduates start their top ranked status in their Kindergarten year. The status is naturally maintained through elementary, middle school and high school, and eventually leads to college scholarships and grants which translate to thousands of dollars.

This book is structured systematically according to children’s analytical capability developments. As universally recognized in the educational profession fields, the younger children’s intelligence is largely associated to two fundamental skills: reading and math. Reading broadens children’s creative knowledge, while math processes knowledge logically. During the time of a child forming his or her thought processes, the eagerness of staying ahead of the peers for the achievement drives a desire for new knowledge. We are proud to present this book, different from other traditional Math workbooks, which emphasizes using multiple thought processes to attack a problem, from easier to more comprehensive ways to answer a question. This book interprets math concepts in small steps which are much easier for children to absorb and provides large amount of exercises created for them to grasp the notions.

Normally, the top ranked students are regarded as gifted children. “That is unfair,” you may think, “Why aren’t my kids gifted?” In reality, the gifted children are simply start slightly earlier, slightly ahead of their peers in the beginning. This Kindergarten math book offers an opportunity as the starting point of culturing a gifted child. It starts from counting and leads to practices on shapes, addition and subtraction, telling time and counting money. The book utilizes a myriad of practice formats to keep children’s interests in mind. Children who practice with this book will feel accomplished and feel challenged at the same time; a strategy structured to keep them self-motivated. This book focus on the transition from the K to 1st grade. What makes it outstanding out from the others is the emphasis on the thought process of using multiple angle to assess and solve a problem, an practice gifted children do.

Staying ahead of peers is pride, honored and happy. The good grades will turn into scholarships and eventually save you lot of money from college expenses. Besides, more time on studies and less time in troubles. Someday you may tell your kids, “I didn’t give you a fish, but I gave you the skill of fishing for your lifetime.” That is what this book for. ===========The Full-Color Gift edition features eye catching graphics as the book originally illustrated. How to Succeed in College: It’s Never Too Late! Part Two For Adult Learners

    by Rachael Hammond

Don’t ever think it’s too late to go to college! If you have been in the workforce for a number of years and are now needing to either retrain for a different career or perhaps explore your educational options with a broader goal in mind – such as, for example, to discover the meaning of life – then read on! This volume is packed with sound, practical advice from college faculty who stand in classrooms just like the ones you’ll be in. They see students of all ages every day. They’ve heard the praises and the complaints of students, and they know their stories and their many struggles. And remember, too, that college faculty have all been students! They aren’t from another planet, but they really do understand many of the situations adult learners bring to the classroom.

One advantage you have over those students fresh out of high school is “life experience.” You’ve been around the block a few times, and you have a lot to offer in the classroom. You’ll have opportunities to share your own knowledge and expertise at appropriate times with your instructors and with other students. No doubt you have some pretty strong opinions about things, too, and in a college environment you’ll discover that you have the wonderful opportunity to express your ideas in such a way that makes persuasive academic sense. The college classroom is a level playing field. This means, however, that the ideas and opinions of others should be respected, even if they’re not widely agreed with. So just because you’re older, you don’t have the right to toss out the window those ideas that younger students have. Listen and learn, friend. Listen and learn!

This second volume in the How to Succeed in College series encourages you to take your time and don’t waste your time. You’re starting down an academic road later than a lot of other people have, so make good use of the tools and resources and opportunities that are available to you!

Volume One of this series contains vignettes from college students and faculty, along with advice from college instructors across the United States.

Volume Three is aimed at professionals who want to improve their leadership, supervisory, and training skills. Second-degree seekers are also encouraged to pursue their next level of education.

Nancy Riecken is the editor of this series. Community Writers is the “group” from which come the publication concepts. 2 Thoughtful articles for you to read, think and reflect. By Mohammed Raj Abdullah (29.7.2014) words 6578: words 6578

    by Mohammed Raj Abdullah

    Islamic monotheism

`Ali bin Abi Talhah narrated from Ibn `Abbas, about,

(Verily, those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day) that Allah revealed the following Ayah afterwards, (And whoever seeks religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers) (3:85).

This statement by Ibn `Abbas indicates that Allah does not accept any deed or work from anyone, unless it conforms to the Law of Muhammad that is, after Allah sent Muhammad. Before that, every person who followed the guidance of his own Prophet was on the correct path, following the correct guidance and was saved.

When Allah sent Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) as the Last and Final Prophet and Messenger to all of the Children of Adam, mankind was required to believe in him, obey him and refrain from what he prohibited them; those who do this are true believers (Muslims).

The Ummah of Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was called `Mu’minin’ (believers, this is because they understood that islam is from the beginning, islam is not new, islam is to worship the Creator Alone and listen to the Prophet of your time, being a muslim through understanding islam, the Quran and the Sunnah is being correctly and appropriately grateful to the creator, being grateful is to be a good muslim), because of the depth of their faith and certainty, and because they believe in all of the previous Prophets and matters of the Unseen.
