Today only, get this Amazon bestseller for just $2.99. Regularly priced at $4.99. Read on your PC, Mac, smart phone, tablet or Kindle device.

A puppy that isn’t house broken can cause major damage to a home, and can prevent these dogs from having the structure and discipline they need in their lives. While house breaking is notoriously difficult, it doesn’t mean it’s impossible.

Bringing home a new puppy is a fun and exciting time for any pet owner. However, bringing home a new puppy also comes with a number of challenges. For many pet owners, one of the biggest challenges is house training their new family member. While puppies can bring a great deal of joy to families, they can also bring a great deal of stress when they aren’t house broken. Accidents can be stressful, but it doesn’t mean that new puppies can’t be properly house broken. With the help from this book, this task will be quick and painless!!

Deciding on a new puppy is a big decision, but once you have decided on a puppy, its time to take your new furry friend home. When this happens, it’s important to start implementing the rules of house training right away. Your puppy probably won’t catch on to house breaking for several weeks, but if you start letting certain habits develop early on, and then try to change them later on, it can be confusing for a young dog. This book walks you through step-by-step, and gives guidance in such a way that even kids could learn to train the puppy, and gain some independence of their own!

After having a puppy home for the first couple of days, it’s time to start creating a schedule and getting serious about housebreaking. This book will teach you ALL you need to know to break your puppy in quickly and effectively so you can spend your time enjoying your new furry friend, and not worrying about them destroying your house.

The Reality of Breastfeeding: Information & ideas including awareness of cultural obstacles to breastfeeding & how to overcome them..

by Catherine Holland

Practical everyday questions answered about breastfeeding your baby, written by mother of 3 breastfed babies and voluntary breastfeeding counsellor with 19 years’ experience of counselling parents.
Information and ideas including breastfeeding in public, breastfeeding support, how to increase breastmilk, advantages of breastfeeding, tips for breastfeeding, breastfeeding positions, breastfeeding problems, awareness of cultural obstacles to breastfeeding –
and how to overcome them. Everything you need to know!

The mechanism by which the mother’s body responds to the baby when it needs more milk is described showing that you can easily control how much milk you make (twins and triplets included), so there is no need to worry. As you get to know your baby you pick up the signals and respond quickly so that everyone is happy! Make this a joyful time in your life.

The Reality of breastfeeding for many women in the western world is that it is a disappointment. For whatever reason they expect labour to be long and difficult and breastfeeding to be quick and easy. This book covers things we think we ought to know and are dismayed to find that we don’t.
Current problems with the inadequacy of formula reported in the media have highlighted the need for parents to have the information they need to be able to breastfeed. It is not just a decision that they make. Unfortunately to be told about the dangers of formula does not make you instantly able to breastfeed.
Recent research studies conducted by midwives acknowledge the inconsistency of advice given to new mothers, one subtitled “No wonder they get confused”. In the meantime parents battle on through a quagmire of differing personal opinions, instead of being guided by the baby and trusting their bodies.
This book contains ideas and information for parents and supporters of breastfeeding, written by a mother who has breastfed who is also an experienced breastfeeding counsellor, using the experience of hundreds of women and providing the sort of assistance that will enable women to continue to breastfeed.

A mother sent me this recently: I read your book whilst breastfeeding my daughter, it became my bible and I carried it everywhere with me . Every doubt or hurdle I would turn to your book. I successfully breastfed my daughter well past 12 months. I wish more people knew of your book, it would keep many people breastfeeding for longer!!!

Pushing Twilight: My Personal Adventure in Geriatric Home Care

by Chris Llana

Pushing Twilight takes the reader on an intimate journey into the lives of the author, as caregiver, and his elderly parents during the final years of their lives. We all hope to live to a ripe old age, independent and with clear minds, but unfortunately, it doesn’t always turn out that way. If we’re lucky, there will be someone to watch over us.

But luck isn’t always enough. Pushing Twilight prepares potential caregivers for the challenges they might face, without presuming to prescribe which path would be best for them. But it’s also a lesson for anyone contemplating their own old age, offering profound insight into the human experience.

The author’s parents each lived to be 91, his father with late-stage Parkinson’s disease, confined to a wheelchair, and his mother, a life-long smoker, with COPD and no short-term memory. Their dementia increased with time. The home care goal was more than maintenance â?? it was to improve their quality of life as much as possible.

Because the author kept a detailed daily medical and care log, and often used a digital voice recorder, the narrative detail in Pushing Twilight is uniquely remarkable. This is not a book filled with vague generalities; the reader will come away with a visceral feeling for the home care experience. Neither is the narrative socially correct; there are no taboos here, because there is no room for embarrassment in the care of dependent seniors.

Ultimately, Pushing Twilight is a story about life and death.

Weaning Your Baby: A Systematic Guide to Weaning Your Child

by PV Vaidyanathan

While it is relatively easy to feed the baby during the first four or five months of life, since the feeds constitute only milk, there is no major confusion or controversy. At the most, the debate is about what kind of milk to use, whether the milk consumption is adequate, whether the child is getting enough, is she satisfied, is she growing well etc. But once the weaning stage is reached, mothers are generally all at sea, often not knowing what to feed the child, how to feed, when to feed, how often to feed, when to introduce new foods, how late in the day to feed the child, how frequently to change the food, when to quit giving a particular food and what foods to completely avoid. Added to this confusion and chaos are the multiple opinions and suggestions that come to the mother from all directionsâ??parents, in laws, friends, siblings, neighbors, maids, and of course, the Internet. Final result—agony and distress with what to feed the child.

This book has been written to address these very issues, in a simple language and format, so that the mother can quickly go through it, and get a fairly good idea of how to proceed with feeding her child with weaning foods. This book is the result of my practical experience in dealing with babies and their parents, for the last 25 years.

With this book, I hope to give a lot of relief and guidance to the already harassed and distressed mother, and to make her life (and that of the baby) easier and more peaceful with a totally no nonsense, to the point book.

This book is not a substitute to common sense or to consulting your doctor is there are any serious symptoms related to feeding your child.

PARENTING: Life doesn’t end with children: How to get things done while having Kids and make everyone a better person

by Stephen Temples

very essential part of caring for and loving your child. Good parenting involves the provision of a warm, secure, and happy home life, helping your little angel learn life’s rules (e.g. how to respect others, share, etc.) and to build good self-esteem. There are times that you may have to stop them when they are involved in things they shouldn’t be involved in, but it’s also very important to encourage them to do the right things; things they should be involved in.

The importance of rules to our everyday life cannot be overemphasized. They are what makes us. They are the reason we can get along with one another. Children who are not taught on how to behave and conduct themselves will find it hard to relate to other children and even with adults. Learning at school will be a difficult thing, they will behave badly and will most likely be frustrated and unhappy.

Parents have great influence on the development of their children, from reading and talking to infants to making ethics and values clear. Parent are, however, not the only change agents or influences, particularly when children enter school. It’s of critical importance that children are given a good start, but it’s also essential that parents understand that children have their own God-given temperaments, and it’s the job of parents to provide an interface with the world that ultimately prepares a child for total independence. In a fast changing world, the job of parenting seems subject to changing styles and fads, but child development needs as outlined by science remain proportionately stable.
