Break

by Gabi Moore

The woman in front of me was being fucked within an inch of her life…

WARNING: This book contains dark and disturbing themes, strong language and over the top sexiness that may be uncomfortable for some readers!

Her entire face was flushed red, the color extending far down onto her chest and to her two swollen nipples.

‘What do you think – should we let her come?’ her tormentor said through strained breath, flashing deep, laughing brown eyes in my direction.

My mind raced. A year ago, I had only seen this man in pixelated images. He had been nothing more than ink on a newspaper for me, and nowâ?¦ now he was sweaty and deep in a yelping woman who seemed to be melting before my very eyes.

———-

Plucky young journalist Katie Mack has an answer for everything, but even she has a hard time explaining her irresistible infatuation with the tabloid playboy that blusters into her life.

He has inconceivable wealth, an unthinkable lifestyle and most unbelievable of all – he has her in his crosshairs.

As she’s whisked into a new, alien world, Katie is forced to confront her darkest fears and surrender to powerful forces, coming to terms with the fact that even she… can break.

Children’s Books: THE CAT WITH A BAT (Very Funny Rhyming Bedtime Story/Picture Book, About Stick-to-itiveness for Beginner Readers, with 23 Whimsical Illustrations, Ages 2-8)

by Sally Huss

A very confident cat, called The Cat with a Bat, wanders into a baseball stadium. No one knows what to make of him, but he knows who he is, “I’m The Cat with a Bat and a Hat and a Mat and I play baseball wherever I am at.”

That explanation starts a series of confusions over the word “At” at the end of a sentence. Fortunately, The Cat with a Bat, demonstrates his baseball prowess by knocking the ball out of the park, proving that stick-to-itiveness counts. Lots of fun and a rhyming delight with a little grammar lesson included.

If you love the books of Dr. Seuss, you will love THE CAT WITH A BAT.

Be sure to take a peek at HOW THE COW JUMPED OVER THE MOON, another very funny book by Sally Huss about trying something new.

The Book of Levi

by Nathan Birr

I don’t know where I’m going. I only know I felt a call. Not an out loud voice, not a vision in the clouds, nothing with any drama. More of a knot in my stomach. A duty. A resolution of course.

The world has changed since I started out. I can’t even remember how long it’s been, or sometimes, what it was like before I did. Or before It happened. All I know is what I see around me all the time, everywhere, constantly.

The Noise.

It started too long ago to remember and too innocently to even trigger an alarm. I suppose that’s how all the great disasters begin. Innocuously. It was never intended to be a movement of evil.

I don’t know if I can stop it. I don’t know if I can do anything. But that knot in my stomach, it tells me there is purpose in my journey. I don’t know what that purpose may or may not be. I guess when the journey ends, I’ll know. But for now, I walk onâ??aloneâ??in faith.
