Bird Woman (Sacajawea) the Guide of Lewis and Clark: Her Own Story Now First Given to the World

by James Willard Schultz

An Indian girl, Sacagawea, the Bird Woman of the Shoshones, led the Lewis and Clark Expedition across the desert and over the difficult mountain passes to the Pacific Coast during the seasons of 1804-06.
Sacagawea was the wife of an interpreter, Toussaint Charboneau. She had been taken in war by the Minnetarees in her childhood and sold as a slave to Charboneau who brought her up and afterwards married her. The story of her life has been told under the title of “The Bird Woman,”‘ by James Willard Schultz, as he heard it from an old trapper and an Indian woman both of whom had it from Sacagawea’s own lips.

James Willard Schultz, or Apikuni, (1859-1947) was a noted author, explorer, Glacier National Park guide, fur trader and historian of the Blackfoot Indians. He operated a fur trading post at Carroll, Montana  and lived among the Pikuni tribe during the period 1880-82. He was given the name Apikuni by the Pikuni chief, Running Crane. Apikuni in Blackfoot means “Spotted Robe.” Schultz is most noted for his 37 books, most about Blackfoot life, and for his contributions to the naming of prominent features in Glacier National Park.

Survival Gray Man: A Step-By-Step Beginner’s Guide On How To Become A Gray Man Who Blends In With The Crowds and Avoids Detection During An Urban Disaster Scenario

by Ronald Williams

Allow me to ask you something: what do you believe the most critical survival skill to have is?

You might answer finding food and water, navigation, self-defense, or building shelter.

But I’m here to present you with an entirely different idea, that the most critical survival skill (at least when it comes to urban survival) is to blend in.

This is what a survival gray man (or gray woman) is: someone who is effortlessly able to blend in with the crowd to avoid detection.

This is easily one of the most overlooked but also one of the most essential survival/disaster preparedness skills to have.
But you might be wondering, how can you become a gray man? How do you have to look? How do you have to act? What do you have to do to not attract any attention to yourself?

These are just a few of the questions that will be answered in this guide and more.

The specific topics that we will cover include the following:

-What Is A Gray Man (Or Gray Woman)?
-Four Benefits To Becoming A Gray Man During Disaster
-The Five Rules Of Being A Gray Man
-How To Look Like A Gray Man
-How To Move and Act Like A Gray Man
-How To Carry Gear Without Standing Out
-Final Tips To Becoming A Gray Man

By the end of this book, you will learn everything you need to know about why and when you need become a gray man and how to become one.

Budget Survival Guns: How To Build An Arsenal Of Firearms For Personal Defense and Disaster Preparedness Without Breaking Your Bank

by Ronald Williams

Do you want to buy a gun or multiple guns but are constrained by a tight budget? If so this guide is for you!

One of the most important aspects of any survival or disaster preparedness plan is security. In fact, security should be one of your main priorities along with food and water. After all, what good is assembling a stockpile of supplies if you don’t have the capabilities to defend it?

This is why it’s important to own guns (and ammunition) as part of your survival stockpile. You need guns to defend your home and your family from those who would harm you, and to put food on the table should you need to hunt.

The problem here, of course, is that you may be on a tight budget while knowing full well that guns aren’t cheap. Fortunately, I’m here to tell you that can purchase high quality guns without breaking your wallet.

Now you may believe that by buying cheaper guns you’re sacrificing quality. While it is definitely true that there are a lot of cheaply made and unreliable firearms out there, it’s also true that there are a lot of high quality guns out there for cheap prices as well.

Firearm manufacturers know full well that not everybody has mountains of cash to spend, which is why for the last few years they’ve begun producing high quality guns at a lesser price point. It’s these guns that I want to talk about today.

What I want to do with this book is outline the basic categories of guns you need for disaster preparedness and then go over specific makes and models of guns within those categories that you can have without spending a fortune.

The specific subjects that we are going to cover include:

-Types Of Guns You Need In Your Arsenal
-Budget Pistols
-Budget Revolvers
-Budget Shotguns
-Budget Rifles
-How To Build An Arsenal For $500, $1,000, and $1,500

Now if you’re already an expert on firearms in general, then this book probably won’t be for you.

But if you’re a beginner and you realize that owning guns is important for the safety of you and your family, then you’ve definitely come to the right place.

I’m going to teach you how you can put together a complete arsenal of firearms that will be easily affordable for most people, and thus hopefully affordable for you too.

Get Home Survival Guide: A Step-By-Step Beginner’s Guide On How To Get You And Your Family Home When Disaster Strikes and You’re In Town

by Ronald Williams

Close your eyes and visualize yourself going about your daily business at any point in the future. Maybe you’re at work, maybe you’re having lunch with colleagues or a client, or maybe you’re running errands at the grocery store.

What you are doing is largely irrelevant in this scenario I want you to visualize, so long as you are in town and away from home.

Suddenly, the authorities send out an emergency broadcast message over the radio. Maybe you see an explosion in the distance. Or maybe the power has gone completely out and all the cars are no longer working as a result of an EMP attack. Or maybe you hear gunfire and see a mass of rioters and protesters on the street.

Whatever the case may be, the disaster you’ve always feared has struck, you’re in the city, away from your home, and split apart from your family.

In this scenario, you only have one goal: to locate your family members and get everybody home as quickly and safely as possible.

Your home is your safe haven: it offers you shelter and protection, and is where your stockpile of supplies is located.
But for now, you’re vulnerable in the dangerous streets of the city and are cut off from your family members. You need to round up your family and get them home as quickly as you possibly can.

This is why it is so imperative to have an emergency disaster response plan and to know what to do in such a crisis, and that’s exactly what this guide is going to teach you.

In this guide, we will cover the following subjects in detail:

-Building A Get Home Bag
-Assessing Your Situation When Disaster Strikes
-Getting In Touch With Your Family Members
-Planning Your Routes Home
-Abandoning Your Vehicle and Traveling On Foot
-Defending Yourself On The Street
-What To Do When You Arrive Home

By the end of this book, you will have enough knowledge and information to put together your own get home bag and write down an emergency plan for getting you and your family safely home when disaster strikes.

An excerpt from the book:

The east and the west have always been worlds apart in every aspect. Culturally, Eastern countries have always been a lot different from their western. People eat different food, wear different clothes, speak different languages, and have various views about life in general. In the world of sports, the gap only grows larger. Eastern countries enjoy soccer and cricket among other sports, compared to the Americans who prefer basketball and football. However, one man dared to cut the gap between the east and the west, particularly in basketball as his larger-than-life frame acted as the bridge between the two different worlds. Yao Ming is the sole reason that basketball became the language which united the sporting worlds of the east and the west.

Historically in China, the Great Wall was constructed to protect the nation’s capital from foreign invasion. As long as the Great Wall stood, the country remained secure and harmonious, safe from any outside interference or influence that could have disrupted the people’s daily lives. However, the great wall called Yao, as tall and as long as he is, did not shield the country of China away from the foreign influence of basketball. Instead, the wall opened its gates up and allowed a bridge to be created between China and the United States as far as basketball was concerned. The sport has never been as popular in China as it is today thanks to the influences of Yao Ming.

While Yao has long acted as a basketball ambassador of Asia to other Western countries, he was a dominated figure in the game itself, just as the Great Wall of China stood as a symbol of strength and dominance for the great eastern powerhouse. From the moment he first stepped foot on an NBA court, and to the final second he played in the league, Yao was always a towering and fearsome figure in the game of basketball.
