The Guide to Finding a Little Italy In New York (the Sight, the Restaurant, the Pizza, the Pool, the Mansion, the Hotel, the Bar, the Shopping, the Toilets, … Flight and the Rest) from Pearl Escapes 2011

by Pearl Howie

I used to get extremely burned out in my old job and couldn’t even handle finding and booking a hotel and flight or finding what to do when I did take time off. So, I thought “wouldn’t it be awesome if someone would write a guide that just gave you one perfect escape; the perfect hotel, spa, flight and restaurant.” So that’s what I did.

This is my guide to an Italian influenced tour of New York (including the best pizza I could find – none of the usual suspects).

Oh and there’s a great tip on where to find impeccable toilets on your journey.

The Guide to Bath Spa (the Thermal Spa, the Inn, Hotel or B&B and the Food) from Pearl Escapes 2010 and 2015

by Pearl Howie

Bath Spa in the UK is one of the best places to visit when you’re feeling the need for some healing, however organising your visit to Thermae Bath Spa and finding somewhere to stay can be a bit of challenge, especially if you’re feeling low, so this detailed guide will help you plan your spa visit and your accommodation if you want to make a real escape of it.

The Guide to Brockenhurst, the New Forest (the Hotel, the Thermal Spa, the Restaurant and the Ponies) from Pearl Escapes 2012

by Pearl Howie

Brockenhurst, in the UK’s New Forest, is one of my favourite places and it’s also home to one of the world’s finest thermal spas. When you need to seriously relax it’s a great retreat, and this detailed guide will tell you exactly how to make the most of it and what to watch out for on your escape.

The Guide to Paris With Kids (the Hotel, the Restaurant, the Sight, the Train, the Pool, the Coffee, the Toilets and the Rest) from Pearl Escapes 2011

by Pearl Howie

I started writing these guides because I used to get extremely burned out in my old job and couldn’t even handle finding and booking a hotel and flight or finding what to do when I did take time off (I could never have handled trying to plan a trip with the kids too!) So, I thought “wouldn’t it be awesome if someone would write a guide that just gave you one perfect escape; the perfect hotel, spa, flight and restaurant.” So that’s what I did.

I was lucky enough to live in Paris in my 20s and it’s one of those cities that you can never “do”, there is always more to experience. This is a very special guide as it was a trip I took with my two nieces (aged 11 and 12 at the time) and although we had a perfect escape it was daunting even trying to find an appropriate hotel for the three of us, and a little scary trying not to lose them, especially at night by the Eiffel Tower!

I hope this guide helps you to give your kids an incredible Paris trip.

Seek Your Bliss – The Guide to Spa Breaks and Escapes from Pearl Escapes 2015

This is the book for you if you want to know which hot tubs are worth the price of a day visit, which hotel’s breakfast buffet is worth forking out for and, most importantly, where to find treatments, escapes and facilities worth going the extra mile for – even if they’re not in the most traditional venues.

With spa breaks and escapes in Florida, New York, Iceland, Bath, London, Hampshire, Sussex, Kent, Paris, Barcelona, Tuscany, Croatia, Morocco and China this is a guide that can help you find your perfect escape around the world.

Tarifa Guide for Digital Nomads (Guides for Digital Nomads Book 2)

by Barbara Riedel

I am Barbara Riedel, living as a digital nomad since 2014. Being a travel blogger made me move a lot in the last years, always searching for places to work, information about internet (Wi-Fi or mobile) and so on. That’s why I started the new category on my blog, Barbaralicious, called “digital nomad destinations”. The blog posts contain general information for digital nomads that enable them to have a smooth start in a new country.

After a while, I thought that something more detailed would be nice. I wrote my first Digital Nomads Guide about my second home town – Palermo. I chose Tarifa for my second guide after staying there for a month in October and November of 2016.

Tarifa is a perfect place for digital nomads who want to get in touch with the community, who want to connect to other digital nomads and don’t want to start on their nomad journey alone. It’s a perfect place for business networking and leisure time. Since Tarifa is Europe’s no. 1 hotspot for kitesurfing, the nomads you will find here do mostly have a passion for this watersport.
