Venice – gondola city
A port city in Italy – of course, who thinks not immediately on Venice? It was one of the biggest commercial towns until the 16th century, and today Venice, one of Italy’s most fascinating cities. If you’ve already been there, you know why I mentioned fascination. This city captures all of its incredible charm: about 400 bridges linking small, lonely islands, creating an idyllic vision both in sunshine and fog. Already on arrival in this port city, your eyes fall on St. Mark’s Square, which is both breathtaking and the most central location in Venice. From there you can reach all attractions in the city – either on foot or in a romantic gondola through the canals. Do not forget to visit the Doge’s Palace and Bridge of Sighs to make your stay truly unforgettable.

Hamburg – the trendy city
Of course, Hamburg with – so accessible to us as Danes and so amazing! The fact that Hamburg is the largest port in Germany and the third largest in Europe is not entirely negligible, but it does not automatically Hamburg to one of the most beautiful port cities in Europe. The reason is rather the unique atmosphere and the beautiful buildings that are found in the northern half of the city. The harbor is an attraction in itself, but warehouse district and numerous attractions such as bridges and Troppenviertel constitute further delights for tourists. Culture enthusiasts in particular will find by submitting Hamburg visit: Theater in Hamburg’s harbor should be familiar to all – the musical The Lion King  played among other things here. But the city’s own Hamburg State Opera and the many concert halls makes a visit to this port city an unforgettable experience.
