History of Norway

by Hjalmar Boyesen

The Norsemen are a Germanic race, and belong, accordingly, to the Aryan family. Their next of kin are the Swedes and Danes. Their original home was Asia, and probably that part of Asia which the ancients called Bactria, near the sources of the rivers Oxus and Jaxartes. Not only the Norsemen are supposed to have come from this region, but the ancestors of all the Aryan nations which now inhabit the greater portion of the civilized world. Among Asiatic nations, the Iranians inhabiting Persia, and the Hindoos in India, have Aryan blood…

What Touches a Writer’s Soul?

by Barbara Wikle

I was always attracted to poetry and lyrics in the songs I loved because of the messages that were written in them.
I was drawn to: Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young to name a few.

At the age of 17 I found myself with words coming into my mind and if they would repeat themselves I would start to write. Sentence after sentence would come in as fast at I could write until they would stop and I knew that the poem was finished. I never forced myself to change or keep writing, I just leave them as they come in. For the past 46 years I have been writing now.
I write down in poetry my opinions and insights of how I view life and the people around me.

At this time I have seven books of poetry:

“What Touches a Writer’s Soul”
“Waves of Emotion”
“Lucid”
“Insight”
“Dance of Illusion”
“Awareness”
“Silence”
