Navigating the Road of Infertility

by Chrissie Kahan

Chrissie Kahan and Aaron Kahan flee to the beach after their latest fertility setback. The trials and tribulations they have undergone to become parents have worn them down. At the shore, they reflect on their harrowing journey and the harsh realities they faced.

Their story begins much earlier, when the couple fall in love. Both work in the educational system and both want to share their hearts and home with children. It doesn’t take long to realize that they are having trouble conceiving. Visits to the doctor confirm their fears: both Chrissie and Aaron have medical problems that affect their fertility. Both try surgery to correct their problems, but conception still doesn’t happen.

Chrissie and Aaron turn their sights to a different way to raise a child: the foster-care and adoption system. They are matched with two beautiful little girls, but their struggle isn’t over. As the two begin to process the change from fostering to adoption, they will face a foster-care system that doesn’t seem to care about their dreams or determination. The story that follows will show the love, hope, and perseverance of two people who never gave up on their goals.

Selfish People: A Relationship Book

by A Murphy Sharp

Everyone deserves to have loving relationships, but when the lines between love and care and convenience become blurred, then it is time to take a good hard look at your relationship. Selfish people is a relationship booklet that is focused on one of the most talked about behavioral flaws depicted by men in relationships. That flaw is selfishness. The focus is on how males tend to put themselves first which simply taking women along for the ride. Love and care should be a two-way street and hanging in there with a person whose most notable pattern of behaviors is the focus on their own needs can leave a woman feeling less than valued in the relationship. Sometimes we just need to know that we are not in it alone, that there are others in the world experiencing the very same challenges in their relationships. I have spoken to countless women throughout the years from all backgrounds and all walks of life, and most are all saying the same things. I want to be seen. I want to be valued. I want to be appreciated. I want to feel love. It is hard to feel the love from someone whose primary objectives are themselves, and these type of people are also very emotionally detached making a reasonable conversation or change in action seemingly impossible.

We’re All Nuts: 5 Simple Skills to Crack the Nut on Relationships

by Jennifer Byrnes

What do you love about relationships? Want more of that? Then crack open this book and make it your best friend for a few weeks. Here you’ll find the answers to why we’re all so different (and all nuts!), and solutions to working and playing together with much greater understanding, vision, and clarity.

“Refreshing! Thoughtful! Fun! I thought of many instances in my personal communication where I only learned about the “shell” of the other person. I needed to do more to help break their shell, and Jennifer shows us how to do just that. As a long-time communications professional, I intend to recommend this book as part of my leadership coaching/training regimen.”
Charlotte S. Waisman, Ph.D., Author, Her Story: A Timeline of the Women Who Changed America
“Jennifer Byrnes has captured my heart and my inner nut with this informative, fun, very timely work to help us all navigate the peanut butter we are sticking to daily by not understanding our fellow nuts!”
Debbie Johnson, Author, Think Yourself Thin
“The most challenging part of leadership is to understand the people you lead. This is a fast, easy read that effectively uses a nut metaphor proclaiming that no matter who you are there is a nutty side to you. Byrnes sets the record straight and promises that all nuts have the potential to be cracked and when you do, meaningful relationships can grow and flourish. This is definitely a must read.”

MÍRALO BIEN AL CAMPO ¡MÍRALO BIEN! (Spanish Edition)

by Ricardo Peirone

Saving relationships: Tips for solving relationship problems – The Relationship Guide (German Edition)

by Jana Jensemann

Saving relationships: Tips for solving relationship problems – The Relationship Guide

Is your relationship going completely different from the way you want it to be? Have you been unhappy for a long time and finally want to change your situation? Then this guide is exactly what you need! A relationship crisis is not the end of a relationship. You can still save your relationship with this book if you have the will. Your own attitude is as important as the techniques I will give you in this book. If you don’t feel the urge to change something inside, you shouldn’t force it.

In this book we will first look at the typical causes of a relationship crisis. This will be the basis for moving forward and saving our own relationship in real life. If we do not know the causes of our problem, we cannot treat it. In retrospect we will go deeper into the matter and look at the different techniques with which you can quickly and easily save your relationship.

Take as much time as you need to read it. In many cases it can be helpful to read through a chapter a second time instead of just skimming it once. This way you can make sure that you really understand it and take most of it with you. Notes on specific topics can also be particularly helpful while reading. Especially if you feel you are missing something important, you should take notes while reading so that you can use it in practice afterwards. It won’t help you if you understand everything in theory, but you are unable to apply it.
