About the author:
Hello, my name is Nithivit Chaiwutimongkol; you can just call me Ong. I live in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I graduated with a degree in computer science from Chiang Mai Physical Education College where I learned many things about life. I worked at an internet café for five years, then as a tour van driver for two years. Now I am a tour guide.
As a tour guide, I had the opportunity to make several visits to temples with my groups and became interested in meditation. I saw monks meditating and wanted to know how they felt. I began reading, listening and talking with monks. They taught me how to meditate but I could not devote enough time to meditation. I took leave from my job and became a monk at “Wat Phra That Sri Chom Thong” in the Chom Thong District in Chiang Mai. I practiced there for a month and gained valuable experience in meditation; it made me calm, composed and enabled me to experience feelings never felt before, impossible to express in words.
After leaving the life of a monk, I returned to work as a tour guide and have been in this job for four years. I returned to life as a monk for a month.
By reducing the number of tours I lead, I found the time to devote to writing this book based on my experience living as a monk, learning and practicing meditation at “Wat Phra That Sri Chom Thong.”

Wrath: The 7 Deadly Sins

by Christian Vandergroot

The Bible talks about anger, or wrath. What should we know about it?

Regarded as one of the seven deadly sins, wrath can lead to serious consequences, such as violence, aggression, saying things we regret later, or making decisions that go contrary to what benefits us. The world is filled with anger, rage, and frustration. Every day, there is a risk to blow up. Some control it better than others.

What does the Bible say about wrath?

Is there such a thing as “good anger?”

What are we to think of Jesus’ outburst at the temple? Was that wrong?

How do we become free from anger, or in other words, how do we control it?

Are there healthy ways to express anger?

What happens to our brains and bodies when we become angry?

These and many other questions will be answered in this guide. Scriptural references, biblical stories, modern-day faces of wrath, and personal anecdotes help you understand all the details of what we should think of the emotion “anger.” The difference between passive and aggressive anger will be explained, as well as neurological connections that are made each time we lose our temper. On top of that, tips and suggestions are made to learn to let it fade, without any negative, unforeseen consequences. Become a better person now by learning more about these things!
