What to expect when you’re not expecting: A no nonsense discussion about infertility

by Hollie Page

IVF? IUI? TTC? What do these all mean? chances are, if you are trying to have a baby, you’ll already know, but you still don’t really know what this all means, y’know?
This book has been written for people who are going through IVF, with real life stories from other couples who are going through it, have been considering IVF and also those who have been through the process.
It is a collection of down to earth discussions and provides an easy to understand read of what it means to be going through infertility treatments. This is the book that talks about everything you need to know surrounding IVF, with the help of women and men from all over the world who have shared their experiences.
This can be a companion guide, or just a way to help those close to you understand what you are going through. IVF is scary, it’s tough, and it can feel like you are alone at times, but hopefully this book will provide some comfort that actually, you are not alone.
Infertility and IVF is of course A BIG DEAL, however this book is like sitting down with a close friend, being open, honest and also being able to have a joke about “the little boys room” (aka, where the lads have to give a donation to science), trying to contain your last scraps of dignity whilst not trying to pee on a nurse and how to avoid the sex talk with your mum in your 30’s.
After much research, Hollie discovered that there were NO charities dedicated to men affected by infertility. This book really resonates with not just only the female side, portrayed in many other books of a similar vein, but also with men, having a whole chapter dedicated to the male species.
Throughout this book you will discover facts and myths behind infertility, the scoop on NHS funding, how to stop yourself going CRAZY in the two week wait and comforting, real life stories from people who have made it through to the other side.

About the author: Hollie is a 30 something professional, living in Hampshire with her boyfriend Tim and their smug cat and naughty dog. She has been researching into IVF over the past 6 or so years, after finding out she was infertile at the tender age of 18. She is a contributor to online publication IVF Babble and has been campaigning for fertility fairness and awareness for the last two years. She is a keen fitness fanatic and blogger at â??Hollie writes’.

Traditionally Speaking …

by Dennis Boyd Call

Have you ever wondered, just what are traditions? What constitutes a tradition? Are they like antiques and required to be a certain age in order to qualify? There have been times when I have wondered if there is much difference between traditions, rituals and habits.

When I think of traditions, I must think of that wonderful musical, “Fiddler on the Roof.” One of the most outstanding quotes of the character Tevye is this, “You may ask, how did this tradition get started? I’ll tell you. I don’t know.” This thought, according to my view, is part of the magic of traditions.

You will not achieve fulfillment and happiness until YOU become the architect of your own reality. Imagine that with a few moments each day, you could begin the powerful transformation toward complete control of your own life and well being through positive affirmation. Because you can.

You will be able to release all fear and doubt simply because you know that you can. Utilize this simple, proven technique to regain the lost comforts of joy, love, and fulfillment in your life.

You have the ability to unlock your full inner-potential and achieve your ultimate goals. This is the age-old secret of the financial elite, world class scholars, and Olympic champions. For example, when you watch the Olympics, you’ll find one consistency in all of the champions. Each one closes their eyes for a moment and clearly affirms & visualizes themselves completing the event flawlessly just before starting. Then they win gold medals and become champions. That’s merely one example of how the real power of affirmation can elevate you above any of life’s challenges.

Life is too short to be exhausted on thousands of everyday anxieties and fears. Sadly, the average person will get to the end of their life and realize that more than half of it was spent struggling with these kind of problems. Because they didn’t know what to do, many of these people never found any satisfaction in life. You can and will become bigger than those struggles by enhancing the energy that already flows within you.

Too often people are held hostage and limited by a cycle of negative thinking and pessimism. This kind of thinking creates a streak of what many choose to call, “bad luck”. I have good news for you. There is no such thing as “bad luck”. This phenomenon is merely a cycle of negative affirmation that must be broken and mended with a fresh regimen of positive affirmation and vision. By repeating and remembering these affirmations in times of difficulty, we transform our rigid affirmations of defeat and intimidation into warm, confident manifestations of the world as we choose it to be.

Get what you want and desire from the world like millions of others around the globe using affirmations. You already possess the power to assert your own perceptions and transform your thoughts and desires into reality. By using positive affirmations daily, you will unlock that natural potential inside of you.

Remember, anything you think or say is an affirmation. Your everyday negative thoughts are powerfully damaging affirmations that can do grievous harm to your precious well-being. You must learn to let them go now. By keeping a cycle of positive affirmations in your mind, you leave no available room for the old cycle of negative affirmations to repeat and take effect. As you transform your stream of consciousness into a positive way of thinking, your life will be wildly enriched and transformed by positive affirmations becoming the truth that you demanded them to be.

If you want to see positive change now, you’ll find the quickest path to fulfillment with positive affirmation and visualization. There is no time to spend on loss, negativity, and defeat when you can be achieving tangible, historically proven results with minimum time and effort invested.

There is no limit to changes that can be made through the power of creating truth with affirmation.

Letters From MOM

by Valerie Lynn

Moms are the backbone of this world. Many go unrecognized for and unrewarded for the struggles they face bringing life into existence. These are letters from my mom that show the love she inspired into my spirit through my younger years when I thought the challenges of life became too much to handle.

My sister: The Beginning of Alex Able â??The Edgeâ? Series

by Alex Able

I was in my crib, just waking up, lying on my back. Someone was beside the crib. I could see the outline of their body.
Was it Mommy? The body had long hair like Mommy. But not Mommy: the body was too short. And the person was just standing there, not talking, just staring down at me. Mommy usually talked to me. My sister maybe? The room was still half dark, and I reached a hand up, trying to talk at the same time. Sis Sis? I whispered. She put her hand down towards my upreached hand and wrapped her fingers around my wrist. She twisted my little hand around and down to the sidebars of the crib, pulled my hand through the bars and slapped it with her free hand.

The schoolteacher does not like children. The sheriff is a cocky eighteen-year-old. Each family is dependent on one another. With all of the coping of this new life, they begin questioning basic things and even begin wondering if the Bible has any answers. No one knows God. Their preacher does not even believe in God. But all is well, because God believes in them.
