Infamous Economic War Of Idd Amin and Its Fallacies: Which Way Uganda?

by Nelson Senkya Gwebukyako

This booklet is a result of my wide working and travel experience many places in Africa. After living in UK for a long time I discovered it necessary to transfer my experience to my Country so my people can draw some lessons from it in order to improve their economic well being. The ideas expressed in this book are personal views influenced by my working, travel and educational experience.

Although the expulsion of 90,000 Asians may have become overshadowed over years by Amin’s atrocities and other political events in the Country, the Economic sabotage created by Idd Amin’s Infamous Economic war is still with us today,45 years down the road.

To date Uganda seems not to have a clear analytical appraisal and criticism on the Economic War of Idd Amin. Everything bad and atrocities Idd Amin did on Uganda has had a chance to be highlighted over years. However the Economic War of Idd Amin tends to be overlooked, yet it is one of the many atrocities Idd Amin committed on Uganda.

The purpose of this booklet is therefore to highlight the Economic sabotage created by Idd Amin’s Infamous Economic war. Also, to serve as a launching pad to support and campaign for return of Asian and white community to Uganda to help in rebuilding the Economy.
