Broken Caterpillars: a book of irrelevant literature

by b byron

This is the story of conformity and romance in the landscapes of Mars and wrinkled shirts.
This dramatization is inspired by false events. However, certain scenes, names, businesses, locations, and facts have been fictionalized for dramatic purposes. I want to be as melodramatic as possible.

We are caterpillars, our metamorphosis is broken, we have conformed to the irrational expectations of civilization and consumer. We hide in offices and internet playgrounds dreaming of worlds that will never exist, that will never come true. To combat this we conform to ideas that are insane, that are not inherent in animals that evolved from tadpoles. We crawl through the world, never materializing, never growing, we will never be beautiful butterflies. We are broken caterpillars.

This is the story about beauty but nothing beautiful happens here.

These are the micro-dimensional musings of my narcissism.

Thank you for understanding.

Grief in Verse

by E. Michael Lane

The stages of grief as told by my adolescent self through poetry. Collected from 1999-2004 when I was a teenager going through a difficult transition to adulthood. From obsessively latching onto the unattainable idea of the perfect soulmate 3,000 miles away, through all the stages of grief as found out the hard way that no one, including myself, was infallible.

Each chapter is a collection of poems and writings that, to me, encapsulated which stage of grief I was in while during those difficult years. From obsession to denial, to anger, to bargaining, to depression, and finally to acceptance.

It is my most sincere hope that someone who may be going through a similarly tough time might read this and realize they aren’t alone.

by Persona NonGrata

The journey of a platonic love of two souls finding their twin in each other. Poems which inspiration came from unknown spirits into my frame of mind for the world to become familiar with unconditional love.

Retazos (Poesía Interior nº 4) (Spanish Edition)

by José Luis Velázquez Rodríguez

by José Luis Velázquez Rodríguez

Sweet Delicious Agony: A Sensual Poetry Collection

by Yesenia Faye

This book of poetry is a journey of self, sailing over a tumultuous sea of desire.

Sometimes you are forced to hold it in. Immeasurable love, a desire so intense that it threatens to consume everything. Sweet Delicious Agony is split into three parts: aching, hurting, and rising. When it comes to love, sometimes you need to ache, then ache so much that it hurts, before you can finally rise.

but make me wait;

force me to contain the madness

let the pressure build;

make me swallow my own words

make me take back everything i said about waiting

make it so that any moment now

i’ll snap and lose control

Simpatico

by Pete Marchesi

A good book.

It is hard to describe. I have so many… good books here. I think you must remember as you are reading, that I am living these experiences. Thoughts that come up big in my mind, are relevant. In that. We try to experience but we are also normal. We want to be sure.

Strike!

by Pete Marchesi

This is a book… about the best that we have got. It is a great book! I hope for it. And that it is as popular as can be.
