Atlantis: The Akashic Trials

by Cristiana DiPietro

There is something so intoxicating and familiar about Luke. Never in a million years did Lee think the live-stream she runs with her narcissistic ex, Austin, would lead her to him and, most importantly, to the lost island of Atlantis.

Lee and Austin have created success by live-streaming the retrieval of stone skull artifacts from around the world. Luke and his research team, Indigo Deep, call upon the live-stream’s internet celebrity to broadcast the return to what is believed to be the recently discovered island of Atlantis. There, they hope to open the mysterious Hall of Records.

However, it is not as simple as turning a key. The group is forced to undergo a series of seven trials designed to test mortal worth. Together, Lee and Luke must somehow survive, relying solely on their otherworldly connection to each other, and the critical realization that the Hall was closed for reasons directly connected to them.

Skylight Dying

by Damian Sitaram Johari

SKYLIGHT DYING chronicles the history of an extra-terrestrial virus, â??AE1′, through the eyes of Samantha Hayes, a member of the CDC’s Rapid Response Team.

Samantha takes us back to a world united in celebration for a rare cosmic event – a collision between two Asteroids, 17,000 miles from Earth. With an unprecedented following, the event culminates in a breathtaking meteor shower, sending meteor fragments to the Earth’s surface.

As the celebration comes to a close, a horrifying truth begins to emerge.

Outbreaks begin to devastate the world as it discovers a highly contagious pathogen among the meteor fragments, which brings our modern societies to its knees, dialing us back from the age of touchscreen devices and social networking to an era of a modern black plague.

Samantha takes us through a journey across the world, following the trail of death and destruction the pathogen leaves behind, with her team forging relationships from Portugal to the ICDC in Israel, in a race against time. While the death toll mounts, the team tries to unravel the mysteries behind this Alien Virus – dissecting its biology and behavior; studying its patterns, mechanisms and capabilities – in an effort to save our species, while witnessing the entire world from Antarctica to the Middle East, falling victim to this biological attack on mankind.

SKYLIGHT DYING is Samantha’s story – From the pathogen’s emergence on our planet, to the global pandemic that follows. Her account of the diversity of opinions, intellect and behavior of our civilization in the face of an unimaginable threat and the vulnerabilities which exist underneath the foundations of our modern societies. It is a story of unraveling mysteries that reach beyond the realm of our imagination, of human perseverance and sacrifice, and a relentless pursuit of our survival.

Classified (The Harem at the End of the Galaxy Book 2)

by Kyle Kenze

Clayton Parks is just another low-level civilian contractor. Then he’s assigned to an all-female time-travel team working in a secret bunker in a sub-sub-sub basement deep beneath the Pentagon. And now every woman in the galaxy wants to get her hands on him.

“You can speak freely here. This is a clean room. A Faraday cage. It’s where I process all of the so-called special handling above-top-secret clearances.”

“I don’t mean to be rude, Ms. Chambers, but I’m not sure exactly what you want from me.”

Her cool eyes swept me up and down. “Oh, I think you know very well what I want from you. It’s time for you to start stripping. It’s you and me here in this room right now, nobody else. The NSA, the DSI, the CIA, and maybe effin’ ESPN and CNN may have issued you a security clearance that gives you access to secrets at the highest level, but you still have to go through me. If you’re wearing a wire or a hidden implant, the time to confess is now.” She had a studied way of folding her arms under her chest. Unintentional tease or fully deliberate test of my willpower?

I unbuttoned my shirt as slowly as I could and still be in motion.

Chambers took a step forward. “I’m not playing with you, Clayton. I don’t have all day. Get those clothes off.”

This 13,000-word novella is intended for open-minded readers over age 18 who appreciate pulp science fiction, men’s harem adventure fiction, and plenty of nudity, swearing, and, swinging/sharing/polyamorous encounters. The future won’t be rated G.

To avoid spoilers, the complete novel-length series is best read in this order:

Nick’s skin started to itch where the tattoo of the grim reaper was imprinted on his arm. Then the tattoo started to burn on Nick’s arm. Next some thing happened no one could have ever foreseen. A vaporous puff of colored smoke came out of Nick’s sleeve then formed into a solid figure right in front of them. The reaper sliced and diced the two S.S. officers in seconds with its scythe. It must have been the razor sharp because arms and heads fell like a cucumber being sliced by a prep cook. Red blood flowed freely into the dirt in front of Nick’s feet. He was relieved to see the reaper come forth to save him from these two Nazi pigs! Then it spoke to him in a soft yet sternly scary voice. They meant you harm master this can never be so. The grim reaper then vaporized back into a puff of smoke and returned up Nick’s sleeve and on to his skin. It burned as it welded itself back on to his dermis. He was grateful but flabbergasted at the very same moment. This was incredible! Did this also mean the other 39 tattoos would defend his life at any cost? How would he control this power he was given against his will by the black witch (Kunto) the mad doctor and the tattooist from hell? He only knew one thing now it was better to be alive than dead at the hands of those scumbag Nazi sadists! He was cursed no one would ever understand his problem. What would he do? How would he ever get back to America and explain all this to the authorities? Would Nick ever see his family again?

The Least of 99 Evils

by Pierre Manchot

Back cover: My fellow Americans, In case you were unaware, Washington D.C. was razed to the ground in 1974 and our President summarily executed. There was mania and violence in the streets before we found a solution- a lottery-based electoral system to maintain order. I was the first President of the New States of America, Clyde O’Brien- former blues musician, failed writer, current Shakespeare enthusiast. My more recent accomplishments include establishing a prison state and stooging as a Machiavellian figure for the powers that be.

30 years later and things are still out of hand. The political parties are factionalized into roughly 100 different teams squaring off against each other like petty gangs. I’ll be your guide as we take a voyeuristic journey alongside Riley Owen, a member of the Dissent, who escapes the Inner Circle. We’ll also meet Clay, who learns of the Rat King philosophy of the Scum from his nihilistic new friend, Carly. And don’t think I forgot about Reeve and Xavier, a couple of unfortunate Frontmen grunts who always seem to get stuck with the worst missions possible. Strap in for a wild ride through an America you’ve never seen before. And if you want a little advice from a guy who knows what he’s talking about? Stay away from the unaligned and the Forgiveness.

This is a dystopian thriller with flourishes of horror and biting political satire. The humor keeps pace with the breakneck speed of the plot and by the end, you won’t be sure if you’re laughing at the dead-pan comedy or from having a nervous breakdown. Bon appétit!

Persecution (The Machine Trilogy Book 3)

by D G Jones

“With their minds ground down by their own education system, the men of science learned how to hate those of us who do not accept their indoctrination. And when their Militia come, all we can do is run and hide and hope not to be foundâ?¦”

After an atrocity that claimed the lives of millions, the New Order of Enlightenment has come to power, a New World Order of eugenics and fanatical science that seeks to destroy all creativity, spirituality and the very soul of humanity. Those who do not fit into the new way of thinking are isolated into ghettos and are slowly being purged from society.
Hiding beneath the floorboards of an abandoned house, the main character tries to make sense of why the Militia are coming for him. Three days on the run have cost him his home, his wife and have left him on the edge of insanity as he attempts to come to terms with being hunted down. After a brief respite, his pursuers soon catch up with him and once again he is forced to flee, knowing that if caught, a world of agony and degradation awaits.
Originally released in 1992, Persecution is another dark novel from award-winning anarchist writer D G Jones. The novel contains often difficult to read subject matter with toe-curling, explicit violence as it takes the reader on a journey culminating in the total destruction of a human being. Set at a slow, brooding pace, it is a highly experimental piece where the central character is isolated from some of the main storylines which are played out in hints and glimpses in the background. As he is caught in his own struggle to survive, the reader is trapped along with him in an unfolding claustrophobic nightmare. Although not a prequel to THE MACHINE, this is the novel in which it first appears, and as always with D G Jones’ work, the novel is full of secrets, hidden meanings, and subtexts for the reader to discover. This is a special 20th Anniversary edition, substantially reworked and exclusive to Kindle.

“In 1992, Persecution was described as â??vile and deeply distressing’, which indeed it is. It is not, however, as some would argue, an anti-science novel per se. Science has brought us some great innovations, such as better healthcare, transport and communications. However, it has also brought us eugenics, vivisection and the atomic bomb. The original version was about religious persecution, but over the years, I turned that on its head and looked at the darker nature of science, particularly when it gets mixed up with governments. In truth, the novel is a metaphor and hopefully I have left enough clues for the reader to decipher its true nature without making it too obvious.” D G Jones (Interview 25/07/12)
