Migraine Headaches, a Pain so severe, that most non-migraine suffers cannot comprehend.

On a dismal March afternoon in 1980, as a severe blizzard was ravaging the countryside of my hometown, I sat helpless, in utter agony, as I waited for a ride home from school. It was the day of my first Migraine Headache in memory, the pain of which, I can still remember to this day almost 4 decades later.

This date in history marked a milestone in my youth as from this point forward, I would suffer from one horrible Migraine after another with no end in sight. Unbeknownst to me at the time, these Migraine attacks were a warning sign of a much more complex problem to which I was oblivious.

I was often bedridden by the pain these Migraine attacks inflicted only to find myself suffering almost total Insomnia to the wee hours of the morning leading to a follow-up Migraine the next day. Night after night I would lie awake alone with nothing but my thoughts inflicting intense emotional stress which lead to future Migraine attacks.

These Migraines were part of the Dreaded Trio.
