Behind the Wall: Part 2

by Dame DJ

Florida, golf, the sunshine, orange juice, swimming pools and tennis available all day as you fall out of bed in a gated golfing community.
It was a dream lifestyle which people saved a lifetime for while most Europeans saw only the brochures and it was unaffordable.
Dame DJ describes the voyage of an English woman and her American partner moving into a Golf & Country Club in Florida, making friends, learning the rules and seeing the harsh realities of life ‘Behind the Wall’ from an English perspective.
They joined the Country Club, played on teams, bought a house, socialised and learnt the rules were different inside the wall.
It’s a fresh, unbiased, innocent and funny view on everything she experienced with Tim when they became part of ‘the crowd’.
We have the unique pleasure of experiencing it, hearing the truth, seeing and feeling through her eyes but are free to make our own judgments.
Based on fact, names have been changed to protect identities as we trace the events that changed lives and shaped the futures of those that lived Behind the Wall.
