A book full of sorrow, love, and happiness.

Transformed to His Way

by Chad Brockmeyer

Transformed to His way is the testimony and work of a Seminary student who read through the Bible and was inspired to write devotional and narrative poetry for each book of the Bible. It is a testimony as it gives the reader a glimpse into how the scripture ministered to him in his journey, but it is also a work to be shared and used to minister to others as the gospel message is within its pages. The work is transparent, challenging, and often reflecting the transforming power that can be found within the content of the Bible. It is the author’s hope that as this work is shared that you and others will also be Transformed to His Way and take the journey through the Bible personally and see how it can minister personally to you in life.

Look not my face, there lies my fear
Look not my stature, for I have no huge chest
Look not my heart, there lies my cares
Just look my hand, there lies my strength

I speak, no one hears for my voice is light
I run but overtook, for my strength is feeble
I marched with low pace; I was not too far from the start
I write; everyone runs, for fire blaze from my riddles

My pen I use as my compatriot
In theirs come common thoughts: they’re all novice
In mine, love mixing with hatred, so hot
Courage with brazenness, and mercy and justice…”

and lots more…

Willy Working Bee

I was flying along just riding the breeze, I’d not very long left the hive
The day was so lovely that any good bee, would be so very glad he’s alive
And far down the gully the small farmhouse stood, the smell from its garden came near
Shall I go bush today or go that away, was a question my mind then did hear
The smell was a draw card I couldn’t ignore, as I nose dived towards it quite fast
The moment was magic I wondered how long, a moment so perfect could last
My fears were well founded as passing their pool, a large splash of water appeared
I wish that I’d chosen to go bush today, it should have been that way Iâ??d steered
I fell with a splash down into the water, my beautiful body was soaked
As water splashed round me, and very near drowned me
I flapped my poor wings while I choked
A girl saw my plight as I hoped that she might, for I was now feeling quite sick
She curled up her finger, I hoped shed not linger, as I did connect with her flick
The flick sent me soaring quite high in the air, till I fell earthward bound like a stone
I dropped on my head, but still was not dead as I wondered which way to go home.
Which way was best was it east was it west, I wasn’t sure which way to take
But how can you blame a traumatized bee, for making an honest mistake…
