This book is for beginners only, especially those who have just come across a Linux OS.
The purpose of this book is to give the reader a wholesome understanding of a Linux OS. I have tried my best to deliver information in a simple and concise manner. The command line only pops up a few times in the book.
More and more people are switching to Linux based operating systems, be it for work, specific tasks, or simply to enjoy a completely free and amazing OS. But, it can be intimidating for beginners and many of them may switch back to their previous, comfortable OS. It is confusing for newcomers to adapt to Linux and this is where I want to help. I was a beginner 3 years ago and since then I have learned quite a lot about Linux desktop systems. I have always admired the support you get from the Linux community and this book is just an attempt to give back.
