A new short story from the creator of Little Killers: A to Z.
Cooper isn’t doing well in Covered Bridge, Massachusetts.

His mother is filling her days with vodka and orange juice, and his psychotic little sister keeps cutting the heads off her dolls. His delusional grandfather won’t stop staring at non-existent cows in the pasture, and their farm dog is acting meaner than usual.

Everyone blames Cooper for the tragic accident which took his girlfriend’s life. Now a group of slackers from Mount Tom Regional High School are gathering deep in a forest clearingâ??at the Devil’s Dining Roomâ??eager for the rising of her ghost on Devil’s Night, the eve before Halloween.

Cooper thinks they’re all crazy. Are they?

by Travis Peagler

Once a child of light, Tyler is seduced into a world of evil and dark figures as the beauty of one girl blinds and dulls his Godly intuition.

Unleashed from the loud cracklings of Hell, Legion, an elite dark angel, ascends to the earth. Commissioned by his Dark Lord Lucifer to claim the souls of infidels, Legion finds it tempting to claim the soul of Tyler; a one-time young Christian prodigy who’s now fallen by the wayside.

If Legion wants to ascend and be promoted to the highest amongst his dark ranks, he must consume a child of light. With untapped supernatural abilities of his own, will Tyler be able to fend off Legion and his horde of internal-dwelling demons, or will he be easily consumed like many before him, and perish with no solace?
