This Alphabet is Out of Control: A Hilarious Alphabet Book for Kids 3 to 8

by Spike Grotto

What happens when a stuffy teacher has a run-in with an alphabet full of misbehaving letters? Read this book to find out! This isn’t your usual, boring alphabet reader. In this one A acts absolutely absurd, B bounces about, and C is completely crazy doing clumsy cartwheels…then things get really strange. These little letters are obsessed with alliteration, acting like lunatics, and flattering color coordination. Highly re-readable with rhyming couplets and a Seussian sense of rhythm, they’ll forget they’re learning in between all the belly laughs. Full of bright colors for little eyes and some eye-popping, borderline surreal illustrations (check that — it crosses that line with the letter S), this is one they will ask for again and again.
