Náufragos: CUATROS PERSONAS. UN MISMO DESTINO. UN FINAL INCIERTO (Spanish Edition)

by Freyli Sosa

by Kendall Brown

The Dead Jester (Bertram Bile Time Travel Adventure Series Book 6)

by Sarah Weldon

A Bertram Bile time travel adventure series, set along the length of the River Thames

What would you do to make the King of England laugh?

Bertram Bile wasn’t always like this. At primary school, he had friends, kind teachers, and great grades. But everything changed when he started his new school. His parents split up, his dad went missing, and his mum lost her job. Now he’s bullied by his classmate Angus and his evil geography teacher Miss Petrenko. His dad had been Miss Petrenko’s first love, but she never forgave him for dumping her for Bertram’s mum when they were kids themselves. Bertram feels sure that Miss Petrenko knows more about his dad’s disappearance than she’s letting on. After all, why would you take a job as a geography teacher if you didn’t know any geography AND you hated kids?

Ë?Ë?Ë? The Dead Jester

Thorkell was once the most famous court jester in all the land – best friend to King Aethelstan and the man who rallied the troops before every successful battle. He loved nothing better than warming up a crowd ready to receive the King. Things were a bit more tricky these days, what with him being dead and not as handsome looking as he was before he lost his skin and bones. If only Thorkell could perform for a crowd, just once more, it would mean the world (and the underworld) to him. Is there anything that Bertram and Molly can do to make a jester laugh one more time?

Ë?Ë?Ë? The Dead Jester is the sixth book in the Bertram Bile time travel adventure series, which follows the course of the River Thames from its source in Gloucestershire to the North Sea in Essex. But don’t worry if you miss a book or two, you can jump in at any point in the series.

If you enjoy Book 6, don’t forget to leave a review below, and to check out the next book in the series “The Boy who was Afraid of the Dark’. The Bertram Bile series is based on Sarah Weldon’s real-life expedition as she swims the length of the River Thames from source to sea, visiting the places that inspired the stories. We Three Cats

by Rob Orford

Based upon exhaustive recorded interviews with the main actors, this short rhyming tale documents the trials and tribulations of three poor pussycats on the day before Christmas. In recognition of the plight of less fortunate pussycats 10% of the author’s profits will be gifted to the Cats Protection. The main reason for writing this rather daft account of three crazy cats was to read it to our children at bedtime on Christmas Eve. By publishing it on Kindle I hope that other children (and grown-ups) might enjoy it too. If enough copies are sold I would love to work with my mother (the illustrator) and a professional illustrator to create a beautiful printed copy that can then be kept in the attic with the Christmas decorations and dusted off each year.
