MBALI YAMI

by D.M.S MPILA

“…I’ve loved I’ve hated.
I’ve been loved and hated.
My heart?Tortured.
My love?Scattered.

I’ve seen I’ve heard.
I’ve been hurt I’ve hurt.

Happiness? Sadness.
Lovelessness? Blindness.
Carelessness? Mindless.
Wordlessness? Speechless.

Neglected I’ve been rejected…”

Relive the love life of Dalincebo Mangaliso Sibonelo Mpila through his short and yet powerful book of just eight poems.Tap into his mind, feel his emotions, experience his different love encounters.

This is a multilingual poetry book containing four languages:IsiZulu,English, some SiXhosa and simplified Sesotho. But when it has been all said and done,it’s really nothing more than just good poetry… Enjoy.

100 Years to be Lost: A Poetry Collection 2nd Edition

by Gregory Carlyle Warner

The number 100 is a significant number for us as humans. No matter the quality of man or woman, we cannot help but to acknowledge the life of the person, who has achieved or surpassed this mark. For me, the number 100 represents a lifetime and also perfection. We are taught very early on that a score of an 100 represents excellence. For spiritualists and numerologists, the number 100 has even a deeper meaning particularly, as it pertains to the Angelic realm. I cannot speak on that aspect of the number 100, but I will say that many of the poems I wrote were gifted to meâ??meaning, there was a deeper call to write about a particular idea or subject beyond myself. So, that is the long and short of it, and why the book had to be titled, “100 Years to be Lost”.

This 2nd edition of “100 Years to be Lost” is the truest representation of what I sought to create. This edition has been expanded to include even more content and beautiful artwork for you to enjoy! Get lost with this contemporary & introspective journey through love, regret, & life. This work is a poetic collection that is coolly intense, somber, & still hopeful. Experience with me the powerful empathy & recollection of this existence with this eclectic & unique literary offering.

“100 Years to be Lost” is a work that ponders the past, frames the present, & subtly suggests that readers choose the hope of the future. Whether you consider yourself a dreamer, sleeper, or currently feel lost, you will find that the words in “100 Years to be Lost” comforts, empathizes, & breathes life into this reality.
