Under the eyes of Eve – revolutions: (With appendix: The choice for a heroic and irreligious Eve)

by Renato Shimmi

MUSIC, TEXT AND ILLUSTRATIONS:

Our intention, as author and collaborators, is to provide a text experience that takes shape through the unity between writing, music, and visual art. Sometimes writing is more about suggesting ideas and images that are musically perfected, at other times, illustration drives writing and, in others, music drives the other elements. It is part of the publisher’s project to intensify the perception of ideas through music, so the presence of Kaoll band is certainly an achievement for this publication. THE CONCEPT:

History, our legacy, is the evidence of the positiveness of this potential present in Eve’s action. History would not exist if had humanity been more faithful to the imposed truths than to itself; history would not exist if everyone would settle for comfort, for the “paradise” of established religious or political creeds. History, as lived, is itself the reinterpretation of the myth of original guilt prevailing over the religious tradition.
Eve is the heroine of transformation, of self-transformation, of the mutability of everything and the search for oneself; in her narrative we find the symbols of this task of accepting a constant coming-to-be of reality and of ourselves, in the ceaseless construction of a world that is human and free.
As metaphors of reality, Eve and the Serpent are as real as the historical figures of Copernicus, Giordano Bruno, Olympe de Gouges, as well as all the revolutionaries, activists, and philosophers who contribute with an outline of meaning to history. The choice for such symbols sets the stage, so the reader turns the attention to the protagonist of our narrative: human nature through the revolutions.

by Learn In Drops

Sinopse

-por que Bill Gates e The Beatles se tornaram tão bem sucedidos;

Pre-Celebrity Jesus

by Brian Shell

“Pre-Celebrity Jesus – The Man Beyond the Messiah” ponders the possible lost years of Jesus Christ which enabled him to proclaim his gospel parables of faith, hope, and love. It hypothesizes the humble humanity of Jesus’ existence on Earth and the life he may have lived to go from being a naive boy to turning into the wise man who would become a Messiah.

It also describes the author’s own faith journey in God.

Inside “Pre-Celebrity Jesus” you’ll find over 50 chapters covering a respectfully curious approach to analyzing and hypothesizing the unknown years of Jesus Christ’s humanity. It is a respectful spiritual exploration while also being inquisitive into any journey to the Father.

Just ask yourself… what must Jesus have been like during all those years we know nothing about him. How did God persuade him to elegantly heal and do miracles ? Was he ever reluctant to take on his destined role? Did he always have long hair? Did he have a pet while a young man? Did he ever make mistakes while learning the true ways and nuances of living life?

This book asks those questions and many more in hopes we begin to believe we can become more like his humble integrity and loving intelligence showed us.
