Know How God Changes Your Life: (100 Bible Verses for Meditation and Prayer)

by chellappa chandrasekaran

“Know How God Changes Your Life”, a handy book with hundred biblical verses, thoughts and prayers to God which will enable everyone to communicate with God and will increase and strengthen one’s faith in our Lord Christ. This will be the most wanted book by all Christians who are entrenched in the complexities of day to day worldly life. The authors wish that you pick up this book from the book store, so that you would not miss a great opportunity. The authors suggest that readers should fully offer these prayers with all their heart, soul, mind and strength to the sovereign God.
For a Christian prayer, to be offered to, and be accepted, there must be a practical and living God, unlike chanting and , slogans addressed to a man-made god. This means then, that the man-made god never saves a man from sin. The vital consequence of redemption from sin through a prayer fellowship obviously requires a living God who actually and truly and directly deals with man. Even God himself teaches his disciples how to pray as we see in the gospel of St. Luke 11:1-4, highlighting praise for the Lord, sins, temptations and forgiveness. One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, ” Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.” He said to them, ” When you pray, say: â??Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation’ ” Praying is first of all a native tendency of humans. It is the deepest impulse of the soul of a man, and it is an universal tendency. It is a practice like breathing or eating in this respect, that men engage in it because they are human. This universal tendency to pray is revealed in Solomon’s prayer at the dedication of the temple as written in 2 Chronicle 6:32,33

The Warrior

by Joyce Swann

James is sitting at a Ft. Worth intersection waiting for the light to change when he hears the roar of a truck speeding toward him. Before he can react, his motorcycle is crushed, and he is thrown fifty feet onto the median.

Although neither James nor Elizabeth is aware of the other’s existence, they begin a ten-year odyssey in which their lives are inexorably intertwined, changing their futures and the futures of those they love most.

“The Warrior” is a moving testimony to the power of prayer and God’s desire to redeem every life.

The Uninvited Companion: God’s Shaping Us in His Love Through Life’s Adversities

by Scott E. Shaum

As paradoxical as it seems, God in his wisdom has designed the human soul to require sufferings of various kinds in the redemptive process. “Why” is a normal human response to such realities. God is gracious to give us, at times some insight into the hard realities of life.

Still much mystery abounds as God offers us something more substantial than mere cerebral knowledge. He desires to give himself to us. Thus, “how” is a wiser question to dwell upon. How is God inviting us to walk well with him and others in the midst of life’s pains? The Uninvited Companion reflects upon the shaping work of a loving Father through life’s hardships. As we allow him to show us how to respond well to him during seasons of adversity, he draws us deeper into his love, life and wisdom. Our sufferings have deep, transformative impact on us. We become carriers of God’s loving presence to others in their adversities.

The Uninvited Companion wrestles with the impact of prolonged personal hardship. Scott has lived with chronic health limitations for a decade. Over this time hard topics of loss, grief, God’s mysterious and wise ways in our lives, and his larger purposes have been explored. Along the way, our personal adversities are used to draw us into his love, shape us into wise men and women and that can overflow into the lives of those around us. The church today needs more elders in the faith. Suffering is one of many means God uses to mature such wisdom amongst his people.

Following Christ [Annotated, Updated]: Losing Your Life for His Sake

by Charles H. Spurgeon

Whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your slave. – Matthew 20:27

You cannot have Christ if you will not serve Him. If you take Christ, you must take Him in all His qualities. You must not simply take Him as a Friend, but you must also take Him as your Master. If you are to become His disciple, you must also become His servant. God-forbid that anyone fights against that truth. It is certainly one of our greatest delights on earth to serve our Lord, and this is to be our joyful vocation even in heaven itself: His servants shall serve Him: and they shall see His face (Revelation 22:3-4).

Charles H. Spurgeon originally wrote this book for members of the Young People’s Society of Christian Endeavor. Spurgeon’s heartfelt writing style makes this book one that today still encourages believers to move into Christian action. He emphasizes simply moving forward, using the talents and resources you already have at your disposal, for the Lord’s service and your own eternal reward. The concepts presented are easy to understand and straight-forward, if only you are ready to lay down your life to follow Christ.

Always Faithful: Clean Amish and Military Romance

by Alexis Fernando

Always Faithful is a clean, Amish, romance set in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. A modern love story where 300-years of religious and old world European tradition clash with the 21st Century when an Iraq and Afghanistan, battle hardened, young, handsome marine comes to town looking to find a new normal for his life.

Always Faithful tackles some of the same difficult decisions as many people in the new global economy face where people of different cultures and religions come into closer contact, fall in love and try to blend two worlds. It also touches on the challenges of living in a closed society where genetically similar people marry and have children.

As the pool of genetic combinations becomes smaller and smaller, the prevalence of recessive genetic disease becomes greater. Find out if love will overcome or if genetics or religion will stop it before it has a chance to bloom.

Love between Amish and non-Amish people is rarely permitted and can cause a young Amish person to have to give up everything to follow their heart. Always Faithful will make your heart beat quicker with the turn of every page as we watch the lives of people with so much on the line pursue this forbidden love.

Speak To The Mountain

by Christopher Roberts

It is vitally important that Christians learn how to speak into their circumstances to effect change in their lives – this is the very purpose of learning how to pray effectively.

This book will, therefore, consider how to pray in the way that scripture encourages us to pray. For example, Jesus didn’t always pray for people to get healed – sometimes he spoke a word of healing or commanded sickness to depart.

Learning to distinguish between praying and leaving something with God, or speaking into our circumstances, is something that some Christians either struggle with or fail to achieve.

Throughout this book, we will consider how people like Moses, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Jesus spoke into certain circumstances and effected change – that is, they spoke to the Mountain of circumstances and they were cast into the deepest sea.

I pray that this book will encourage you to speak to your own Mountain, when it is appropriate to do so, and witness God move it into the deepest ocean in Jesus name.

by Robert T. Melaccio

A walk through the Valley we all must travel through as seen and experienced by the Author. It is a witness to finding God through the incidents in ones life and experiencing God’s guidance and encouragement in times of human sufferings and trials and in the general everyday experiences.

The Science of the Human Soul

by Emmanuel Ebah

This book provides a structured, sharpened and readily graspable discussion about the human soul. It commences by supplying compelling and credible evidence for the existence of the human soul. It then intimately examines the origin and nature of the human soul. It proceeds to punctiliously explore the mode of evolution of the soul; and concludes with the enlightening fascination regarding the ultimate destiny of the soul.

It’s a timeless and implacable universal fact that the human species is an essentially fourfold dimensional entity; comprising the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual facets. The physical aspect of humans is conducted by the physical body; the emotional aspect driven by the astral body; the mental aspect governed by the mind; while the spiritual facet is presided over by the soul. The physical body, astral body and the mind are the three requisite tools appointed to execute the instructions of the soul; so as to enable it uphold its sovereignty and actualise its mission. These three requisite tools of the soul are devoid of any intrinsic autonomy; but are called upon to execute the instructions of the soul with the highest degree of obedience and rigour. These three requisite tools of the soul also have no vitality of their own, and are fundamentally sustained and enlivened by the vitality that flows from the soul. Without this divine nectar that flows from the soul to nourish and enliven these three requisite tools, they would become lifeless and useless. Therefore, the physical body, astral body and the mind have no future of their own; but are simply offering a valuable service that is imperative in enabling the soul realise its ultimate spiritual goal. In this respect, the ultimate goal of the soul is to achieve perfection in wisdom and divine love , so that it can function within the cosmic environment with the highest degree of competence, understanding and unconditional love.

Therefore, the totality of the physical, emotional and mental experiences is designed to enrich the soul’s spiritual curriculum and accelerate the actualisation of its divine potential of perfected wisdom and love. It should hereupon be tenaciously underscored that the physical body, astral body and the mind are not eternal; and are entirely disposed of once their services are no longer sought by the soul. On the other hand, the soul is an essentially eternal entity, which can thus be considered as the real original human being that shall never perish.

One of the most vexatious aspects about the soul’s presence on earth is that, more often than not, the physical body, astral body and the mind ignorantly lodge rebellion to the soul’s reign and goal; and instead pursue their own clandestine but hopeless agendas. These three requisite tools of the soul become entirely inundated by their perceived delights of physical phenomenon; and frequently abandon their appointed service to the soul. In this rather lamentable situation, the soul’s mandate and goal are worryingly frustrated, since it cannot function in this physical world without its three requisite tools. Nonetheless, when the three requisite tools of the soul lodge rebellion against the soul, they unknowingly disconnect themselves from the divine nectar flowing from the soul that offers them nourishment and vitality. Therefore, they pursue their own furtive agendas in a rather uncouth manner that manufactures suffering for them. This is so because without the directing light from the soul, the mind, astral body and physical body would commit terrible blunders and become architects of their own misfortune.

Nonetheless, there is a means by which the soul can avert rebellion of its three requisite tools, and instead persuade them to answer to their obligation of service to it. This great secret which the soul can employ to obtain the subordination of its subsidiaries is called spiritual enlightenment. This book examines the supreme science of the human soul, a
