“Whether myth or legend, young or old, every smile leaves a story untold.”

Poetry is art, an art that resides within many of us. Many of us have stories that we will never share out loud, however through poetry our silence is often broken.

Stories Untold is a group of poetry written when I faced many difficulties and had no other means to speak out. Every poem tells a story and it is up to the reader to decide whether or not they want to listen.

Letters from a Forester

by Forester de Santos

Letters from a Forester, meaning stranger as also meaning peace maker or peace lover, are bits of simple and honest, and at times very argumentative writings, more like an experiment on essays because the good writer does not want to write about fantasies or fiction or even made up history or made up science but rather the good writer wants to write about the truth. And every time the good writer finds something of the truth, something of the truth the good writer writes. And even though these bits of writings are very small and they stand alone but stand not by themselves! Enjoy!! Tags: Letters peace essays joy gladness love God

Have A Slice of my Poetry Pie: A Collection of Poetry

by Alexander Salfiti

Have a Slice of my Poetry Pie is my progression of life through a young English Literature student at Cardinal Newman College Preston, through my gap year, to University and then beyond. Each part being a significant chapter in my story. It is also a way I wanted to highlight how hard it can be when people hit their 20’s. Everything seems at a loss, we don’t know where we are going; where we have been and what we have actually done with our lives. I wanted to capture this transition from late teens into early adulthood. Those feelings of loss, the innocence of adolescent love and the stark cold realisation of adult life. Things we all eventually relate to; turning into an adult. In a world concerned with image and delusions of grandeur it has left us prone to the darker sides of mental instability, I wanted to show that more often than not we are the same, think the same, do the same things, and ultimately all fear the same inevitability; getting old.
