In July 1947 rancher Mac Brazel allegedly came across strange wreckage strewed across the New Mexico Desert. According to UFO historians he took some of the wreckage to a neighbour’s house who advised him to contact the local authorities. He immediately phoned the local sheriff who in turn phoned Roswell Army air force base who sent men to investigate. According to UFO folklore remains of an alien spacecraft were discovered along with a number of alien beings, some of which were still alive. A clean up operation began and the whole incident was covered up, witnesses sworn to secrecy and any press stories quashed and replaced with a simple explanation, it was in fact a weather balloon that came down.
Researchers have dedicated their lives to getting to the bottom of what happened in July 1947. Witnesses have come forward including army personnel and Roswell townsfolk stating that, what crashed in 1947 was no weather balloon. Despite this, the US Government still insists that no alien spacecraft came down in the New Mexico desert in 1947.

No Game for a Dame (Maggie Sullivan Mysteries Book 1)

by M. Ruth Myers

A .38, a nip of gin and sensational legs get Depression-era private investigator Maggie Sullivan out of most scrapes – until a stranger threatens to bust her nose, she’s hauled in on suspicion of his murder and she finds herself in the cross-hairs of a crime boss with connections at City Hall.

Moving through streets where people line up at soup kitchens, Maggie draws information from sources others overlook: The waitress at the dime store lunch counter where she has breakfast; a ragged newsboy; the other career girls at her rooming house.

Her digging gets her chloroformed and left in a ditch behind the wheel of her DeSoto. She makes her way to an upscale bordello and gets tea – and information – from the madam herself.

A gunman puts a bullet through Maggie’s hat. Her shutterbug pal on the evening paper warns her off. A new cop whose presence unsettles her thinks she’s crooked. Before she finds all the answers she needs, she faces a half-crazed man with a gun, and a far more lethal point-blank killer.

Garden of Lilies (A Victoria Cage Necromancer Novel Book 1)

by Eli Constant

This time, helping a ghost might kill her.

Victoria Cage has one main objective in lifeâ??make sure that no one finds out she’s a necromancer. You know, a carrier of that pesky little power that caused zombies to rise back in World War III?

Of course, it’s hard to stay hidden when you deal with dead bodies. Like, every freaking day.

Maybe taking over the family funeral home wasn’t the smartest choice in the world, but sometimes being the local mortician and resident â??crazy pants’ has its benefits. Likeâ?¦ when Victoria’s caught talking to thin air, folks just dismiss it as her own brand of strange. I mean, what person in the business of death isn’t a little weird?

When a murder victim reanimates on her embalming table, Victoria is drawn into an unfinished business that puts her to the ultimate test. It yanks her in like a fish on a sharp shiny hook, until she’s knee-deep in a cocktail of blood magic, death power, and fairy meddling.

Talk about complicated.

Fans of Hamilton’s Merry Gentry series & Briggs’ Mercy Thompson series will fall in love with this world that mixes a little bit of this, a little bit of that, and a lot of kick-ass, relatable necromancer in size twelve jeans. And don’t worry, there are enough sexy AF men to go around.

Sex & Language Warning
Victoria Cage has sexâ?¦ people around her curse. There are dead people sprinkled between instances of profanity (okay, maybe the language isn’t that bad). The Victoria Cage series will also deal with some heavy materialâ??child trafficking, gender acceptance, rape. If you can take the dark with the light, you might just love this series. Me personally? I’m all about the shadows in between. -Eli C.

What Amazon readers are saying:

â??â??â??â??â?? I never thought I would be cheering on an assassin, but it’s hard to not love this character.

â??â??â??â??â?? I had fun trying to guess Sei’s next move. I was never correct.

â??â??â??â??â?? Hard to imagine how this author created a character so clever, intelligent and gifted. And a woman, no less.

â??â??â??â??â?? Assassins may not be the best people in the world, but Sei makes you root for the best for her.

â??â??â??â??â?? Drama, mystery, and a hard punch from the beginning.

â??â??â??â??â?? One of the best books I’ve read on Kindle.

â??â??â??â??â?? Characterization is fantastic; story is very engaging, and excellent plot.

â??â??â??â??â?? I love a book that reads like I’ve just watched an action movie.

â??â??â??â??â?? Definitely a killing machine but with a moral compass.

â??â??â??â??â?? A multifaceted character that draws sympathy.

â??â??â??â??â?? Love, Love, Love this series.

â??â??â??â??â?? I usually don’t read books about assassins, but I’m looking forward to reading the rest.

â??â??â??â??â?? I can’t help but admire and root for the petite female Asian assassin.
