Shades of Blue

by Caitlyn Cassidy

This collection of poetry explores heartache, loss, love, and the search for personal strength. It was through writing each of these poems that I was able to begin to find my own peace.

Half Angel

by Raphael Sanzio

Half Angel is a collection of poetry written over the past six months while commuting in and out of New York City. The poems in it are about personal release, freedom, refusal of self-censorship, giving into myself as a complex person and artist with a unique voice, and, of course, New York.

Lazy Prey: 120 funny, touching and vulgar poems

by Jeroen den Haan

Lazy Prey contains 120 poems that readers have categorized as funny, touching and vulgar. Rhyme and no rhyme, and mostly freeverse, the poems in Lazy Prey all come from the heart. Spewed out without a filter, nothing seems off limits. It is clear ‘old man’ Jeroen den Haan has nothing to lose, after his sanity gave out.

Tangerine Dreams

by Berlin Burke

Tangerine Dreams is one woman’s purgatorium…a cathartic expression of her thoughts and desires distilled into snippets designed to conjure the reader’s inner recesses and repressed lexes.
The text forms both a literary device and thought prompt, providing the reader a platform to repose, reflect, and respond to the author using her words to recreate their individual interpretation or vision.
Tangerine Dreams is a verse-journal in which the author asks the reader to hold a mirror up to their fears, desires, and dreams…to explore the abyss…the ocean that can never be drank.
The work is a demimonde between a fiction of fantasy and simplified reality.
Ultimately the work is a hedonistic foray into secret chambers and silent thoughts.

Side of Splinters

by K. Field

Side of Splinters is a practice of magic with words and imagery inspired by sleepless nights and dark days, a journey of hurt, healing and the revealing of truth. It is the sharing of buried feelings and stories inside stories. It speaks powerfully without any boundaries, asking questions and creating pictures in the mind to explore.

Why do you swing?
Do you find pleasure
in the damage you cause
Is it the tearing, biting
and scratching you enjoy
The rendering of flesh from bone
of those closest to you
with no whip in hand

Il contratto: Poesie spiegate al lettore (Italian Edition)

by Frine Speranza

Romantische Dichtungen (German Edition)

by Amalie von Helvig

The Word Ablaze: Divine Ties Book 2

by Matt Buonocore

Poetry to awaken the heart and reinvigorate the soul!
Each poem provides a new vibratory experience that guides the reader towards spiritual growth!
This book is my journey from awakening to present day. The book is meant as a catalyst for spiritual growth, the goal being to ignite the fire that lies dormant. We are all called to serve, to serve ourselves and then the world. Let this be a message to all that would choose the path of service, the true path. As each fear disintegrates we walk closer to the truth of our nature, and this is my truth.
The Phoenix Rises
“I’ll tell you a little bit about the man who harnessed fire..
The years in fear all brought him here.
The credits roll on his ego and now no end comes for this show.
He’s blooming in his love and truth,
He’s broken the seal of his cocoon.
He’s seeing through his own disguise,
He’s taking you along for the ride.
So take a seat and catch a feel,
The hearts been opened he broke the seal.
The Phoenix flies when layers peel.
The wings stretch out as flames release,
We live this life to feel this heat.
You feel the call so fly with me,
I know in truth I set you free.”- Matt Buonocore

When you need to analyze what is going on around you, sometimes, taking the thoughts out of your head, where they are all muddled, and scripting them onto a piece of good old fashioned paper, with a pen, can truly help you a) get those ideas visually in front of you b) clear your mind, because having it written down allows you the freedom to step away without worrying you are going to forget the most important elements necessary c) look at things objectively, once you have had some time and space away from the muddle d) keep of record of how you were feeling, what you were thinking, and how you chose to deal with it, at a certain point in time.
Like keeping a diary, but far more creative, the book is a collection of thoughts and ideas and analysis and recollections dealing with many assorted daily topics. Some poems are modern, some are old fashioned. Some rhyme, and some ramble on, free thought. Not only will this book inspire you with its creativity, it may suggest ways in which to help yourself see the light of day. We are inundated with so many complications on a daily basis. It is not always easy to keep it all in and deal with it. When you share with others, you sometimes find you will receive suggestions and answers as to how to get through, the muddle we are all going through, at some point or other in our lives. Life is not simple. Writing can however, simply help.
