The Other Side of Silence

by Shantha H.N.

In a collection of forty-two poems, The Other Side of Silence unifies assorted themes to create a harmonious expression of the female voice. From the terrifying abduction of the Chibok school girls to the wasteland of Syria’s war, to the Indian families grappling with a dowry system, and the blood-curdling threat of Ebola, The Other Side of Silence travels the globe to put women in the centre of the map.
Author Shantha H.N. explores diverse women with diverse experiences, yet every poem tells a tale that places each woman’s uniqueness alongside our shared humanity. The poems examine themes that range from love and motherhood to the more difficult matters of despair, abuse, human trafficking, and sacrifice.
The Other Side of Silence provides the torch that shines an unwavering light on the female experience. In verses both tender and tough, it amounts to a resounding voice that acclaims women the world over.

The Everlasting Catastrophe

by Nayab Imtiaz

I tend to stare at the blinking cursors and at the space a lot. I guess that sums up my entire life; the emptiness, the numbness, the void, and dancing demons when it is dark. Sometimes I dance with them and other times I let them consume me. This book is everything I always wanted an escape from. This book is everything I always ran away from, but seems like I can’t, so here am I embracing my past, the present and the fear of future. The demons refuse to be buried, so I am bringing them to life.

Amor Ignorante: Poemas (Portuguese Edition)

Porcos a voar (Portuguese Edition)

by Ernesto Ribeiro

Facto consumado

A Cartographer

by Antonio J. Hopson

A heart can take you anywhere. “A Cartographer,” is a collection of new and beloved poems from poet Antonio J. Hopson, who captured hearts and minds in 2016 with his book Seven, which spent ten weeks at #1 on Amazon’s “Love Poems” bestsellers list. A Cartographer is a glimpse into the life that soon emerges after a fire has swept through a forest. With honesty, poignancy, and romantic flare, A Cartographer captures what is both raw and relatable about the greenery that grows out of the ashes: the smallest and grandest moments in life, the first glimpse of a new love, panda hatred, late night dancing to punk rock music, the love and nepenthe of whiskey, stars, machismo and its failings, and the adventure and exuberance of mapping the human heart. Antonio J. Hopson walks with the reader–hand-in-hand– through some of life’s exhilarating highs and heartbreaking lows.

espoir (Quintessential Dalliance)

by Abhimanyu Kashyap

Espoir gives a deeper insight into the subject of being a hero in your own story. The prose open a window to a whole new world where the limits are unknown and the fortitude to achieve the grim is quite evident.

Every single prose talks about the genuine yet inevitable situation that eventually becomes the foundation of a protagonist’s disposition. This book talks about the dreams that are sometimes being woven into knitwear or that are brought to reality at the mountain top. These dreams also come to reality when we see someone in the deep sea.

The subjects from a fallacy to reality on a stage, the incidents of a shattered heart and the power of bonfire, the explanation of proposal and the silence; all have been creating imagery in the mind of the reader and the rhythm that words
generate is capable enough to bring them till the last page of the book.

Walks: A Collection of Haiku (Volume 1)

by Cendrine Marrouat

Haiku are unrhymed poems consisting of about 17 syllables spread over three lines. This poetry form started in Japan and has been very popular in many countries around the world for decades.

Haiku force you to be concise. They teach you impactfulness. As such, they are the embodiment of the “Show don’t tell” technique. A technique that allows readers to experience stories in a more personal and meaningful manner.

Walks: A Collection of Haiku (Volume 1) is not just a celebration of Cendrine Marrouat’s love for haiku. It is also an invitation to enjoy the flitting moments that make life beautiful…

Advance reviews:

“While reading I felt like the author took my hand and whispered to me ‘come, let me show you the things you are not seeing with true sight’.” – Natalie Brown (Musician, Vlogger & Entrepreneur)

“Cendrine’s thoughts are lifted constantly by her keen eye for detail, her interactions with her environment and even how she observes the very elements themselves. She distils each scene that plays out in her haiku snapshots with emotional punch, verve and fierce purity of purpose.” – David Ellis (Award Winning Author of ‘Life, Sex & Death – A Poetry Collection’)

“I loved ‘Walks: A Collection of Haiku (Volume 1)’ for the same reason I love Haiku in generalâ?¦

To “get” Cendrine’s haiku as for all, you have to stop racingâ?¦slow downâ?¦read it thought by thought – image by imageâ?¦pauseâ?¦contemplate. Each haiku is a time for time to stand still, while your heart and soul touch the moment.” – Lynne McAnulty-Street (Editor and Publishing Consultant at Red Penn Services Ltd)

“‘Walks: A Collection of Haiku (Volume 1)’ takes us to a new dimension, but in the world we live in. It captures the true essence of life and feelings. With new eyes. Minimalist, but great, and strong. A new look into details we often lack to see. Or feel. The precious little things that surround us. And the greatest. It awakes the magic and the dreams.

This writing freezes the moments. Like photography does. Moments we can cherish and keep warmly in our heart.

Cendrine’s haiku are the best I’ve read so far. I strongly recommend the book to everyone.” – Isabel Nolasco (Photographer)

“Haiku are traditionally difficult to write in a meaningful way, because most writers are limited by the rules of the form. Not Marrouat. She uses the form like a master, crafting her own word combinations to dance within the beats of the Haiku.” – Katrina Moody (Writer & Editor)

Les Sueurs du Singe (French Edition)

by Philippe Chabi

by Marcelo José Santos

Te propongo intentarlo (Prosa Poética) (Propuestas Inmarcesibles nº 1) (Spanish Edition)

by Miguel Lopez
