Expeditions of the Mantis: Book 2 of the Mantis Saga

by Jim Henderson

Ximon and his unique crew continue their adventures on the retired Republic scout ship — The Mantis. War has flared up and Ximon and Mantis have been called back to service to fill the gaps left by the redeployment of Navy and Scout forces to the front. Mantis is called to duty battling pirates from lonely outposts, doing deadly resupply runs to allies in a war zone, and then expanding Republic influence into unclaimed regions of the frontier. In this they deal with teams of diplomats, terrorists, scatter-brained scientists, hyper-efficient robots, and ships and stations facing disaster. To top it off, Ximon has to deal with his own sexy companion robot and the intelligent ship’s computer, both of whom have their own ideas of how they should “evolve.”

This is a sci-fi adventure that will hook you with intense space action, rich, colorful characters, and engaging stories that will keep you coming back for more.

Lucky Universe: Lucky’s Marines | Book One

by Joshua James

Leap into the action and hang on like hell.

In a desperate fight against insurmountable odds, mankind’s only hope is a lifer Marine with a violent past he can barely remember and a habit of picking fights he shouldn’t win.

Ambushed behind enemy lines and left for dead along with a handful of privates so green they actually respect his authority, Lance Cpl. Lucky Lee Savage has to master his inner demons, manage the ambitions of his foul-mouthed AI, and figure out what is tearing a hole in the fabric of space-time before everything goes tits up.

The world has killed itself, but a nameless man survives.
From the confines of his Uncle’s farm, he watched on as suicide and depression ravaged the globe, snuffing out everyone around him and casting society into a primitive darkness. Forced out of his isolation by hunger, the man leaves the farm behind and aims for Houston, Texas, choosing to brave the untold dangers of an abandoned, feral city in attempt to find his parents and piece together the mystery of a people that inexplicably took their own lives.
Throughout his journey, he finds comfort in the words of a few unusual survivors and forms an unexpected friendship with a tenacious Biologist named Lauren. Together, the pair navigate a land bathed in death, finding renewed purpose in the liberation of trapped animals and forming a greater understanding of their intended role in Nature.
The Great Depression is a darkly introspective tour through a world of unchecked despair, offering a warning for a civilization that has fallen out of balance with its environment and, most importantly, itself.

Adventures among dreams

by Will Helm

ADVENTURES AMONG DREAMS is such a hypnotic story that the reader will hardly forget its images. Set in a dystopian reality, it depicts the wandering of a man without a past or goals, except the obsession of trying to wake up. A giant worm that devours people, bloody lips that bloom and demented nuns that fall in love, are some strange and twisted nightmares that the nameless character must deal with.

Amerizan

by John Wohmler

I am an investigative journalist, the type of investigative journalist who questions everything and anything until near-concrete evidentiary support is provided to either support or disprove any given investigation. In my 20 years of reporting, I have done weeks and months of investigations into many different matters. The drawback from this field is that sometimes you will waste these weeks and months diving in head first into any given investigation only to find that the whole investigation is fruitless; either due to creditability and other factors which lead me to believe my curiosity is leading me down a rabbit hole.
The hardest part of reporting authentic factual accounts is maintaining independence from influence, as most of the reporting today is heavily swayed by those who control the major media outlets. Without access to these major outlets, many investigative reports and findings get swept under the rug. Control of the media outlets and ability to suppress stories which don’t support your agenda maintains the narrative. The narrative I’m referring to is the status quo narrative, a status quo narrative suppresses any story which threatens the status quo. When stories that are different from the status quo, major publishers require you to change the facts to support their narratives. If you don’t change the facts, then they won’t publish you. The story you are about to read is one that I wouldn’t change one fact about.
The subsequent chapters detail my series of one-on-one interviews with, a former S.S. Officer in Hitler’s Army during the Second World War. His deathbed confession is one that has the power to disrupt the world as we know it today. A former righthand man to Adolf Hitler retells what truly happened in the Second World War and the biggest lie we have all been told since.

The Other Side

by Aprilia Oon

“Clear instructions are always useful, especially when the consequence of failing your task is most probably death. The Four Adventurers soon become five, when one of The King’s ‘children’ becomes one of them. Their allegiance soon becomes friendship, and they help stop what is blocking their paths…” This is a mystery-filled, adventuring-type book that suits everyone and anyone. The Four Adventurers must obey the King’s orders, and with the help of the King’s ‘child,’ they are faced with even more difficulty. When the four friends wind their way through King Henry VIII’s reign, they must find the jewels for ‘their king’ before it is too late. The book is set in present day, and is suitable for young children, as well as older people who like to read fun and exciting books. Praise from readers:

â??â??â??â??â?? – “The author has done a masterful job of combining history and fantasy in this saga.”

â??â??â??â??â?? – “This story puts you right into Texas in the 1850s. As a fan, and student, of science fiction for 40 years, I can honestly say this is one of the best. Thank you, Mari.”

â??â??â??â??â?? – “This story of the juxtaposition of western and space aliens is interesting. The clash of cultures is not quite what might be expected, but it leads to an interesting read.”

â??â??â??â??â?? – “I enjoyed the purely western start, and the aliens and otherworldly part fit seamlessly. An odd combination to be sure, but the author makes it work.”
